Every so often I'm compelled to pen something. Like a couple days ago, for example, I had this need to write about my 9/11 experience, but simply just didn't follow through. After 12 years, rehashing where I was and what I was doing on 9/11 seems kinda played out. Even though I probably could have crafted something decent (how many people do you know that were in the military basic training all of 6 days on 9/11?), it just seemed meh to talk about.

But it isn't meh. Not in the least. To repeat the same thing I told you when you were in Korea; that which may become mundane and routine to you while abroad (or experiencing something most of us never will) is generally fascinating to the rest of us. The average Swamper has likely never been to Germany, for example, and may never.

You don't have to wonder if that is "Swamp worthy" musing. Oh course it is. Hell, yes.

My problem is with the blue states. Except the plastic surgeon; those patients overwhelmingly pay cash, I'll bet he (or his department) brings in more than he is paid. Most football/basketball coaches on this list at least have a good chance of bringing more TV money to their institutions than they cost. Not true of most public employees (and tax income is not income). College deans and presidents, particularly med-law school leaders, getting paid what they do sickens me. (Yes, Wall Street leaders, banks, corporate scumbags, they sicken me too, in case you don't pay attention. To an equal extent. Same fucking coin; heads or tails, the people pay and lose.)

And clearly New Hampshire has the formula exactly correct.
