This drama is really overdue for someone to turn up dead. This guy seems perfect for that. I thought it would be Manafort, but this guy has jumped ahead.
The eventual movie will probably exercise creative license and speed this part up.

I can't link to the videos, but just watched all of Nunberg's performances today. He is absolutely not right in the head. Erin Burnett told him during an in-person interview that CNN received calls from numerous of his friends and former colleagues saying they were very concerned, and they think he is either drinking, on drugs, or off his meds. At the end of the interview, she seemed genuinely concerned, asked him again, and said she has interviewed him before, he seems different, and she thinks she smells alcohol on him. Fuck. Never seen that before.
Great segment of Nunberg on Ari Berman's show, along with two female attorneys. One was a former prosecutor, who was very concerned, trying to explain to Sam why he needs to cooperate. She was essentially advising him, while the other stared at him with motherly concern. It's kind of creepy watching someone devolve over the course of 2 or 3 days.

I'll tell you what really sticks out to me: The fact that Grassley and Graham went after Steele in such a public and shitty way really should dispel any notion that they are anything other than disgusting partisan hacks. Hannity and Tucker going after him on Fox is one thing, but for those 2 assholes to carry Trump's water in such a sickening way just totally seals the deal on them.
Again, I know it's not shocking, but they are on the same level as Nunes at this point in terms of credibility.
Also, apropos of absolutely nothing, Steele was born in Aden, Yemen... If you're looking for a fairly entertaining TV show to watch, The Last Post is all about Britain's last days in Aden, which was an important port and oil manufacturing territory up into the 60s for Great Britain.

Whether or not he's a traitor, Prince is definitely a war criminal. If there were any justice he'd already be in prison for the atrocities Blackwater carried out in Iraq. (Which, as an aside, is a big part of why I don't think GWB will ever look "pretty good" in comparison to Trump, or anyone else for that matter.)

He's definitely a traitor (and war criminal), but not because he set up a meeting between the already-elected soon-to-be-President and a foreign power we aren't at war with.Johnnie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 7:17 am Erik Prince, Blackwater founder and Betsy DeVos's brother, is most likely a traitor

He's also apparently a perjurer, but I don't know if anyone would prosecute if Congress itself (i.e., the Republican Party) doesn't push it.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

do you have any links to any stories about this stuff? Im not doubting what you say I just know nothing of blackwater and "traitor and war criminal" are pretty heavy labels to drop on someone that near as I can read from that set up a meeting with a foreign country. Yeah Trump wasnt elected yet...or was he not sworn in yet? I couldnt tell, but since trump did end up getting elected isnt meetimg with other countries his job? Trump had already been elected, just now sworn in yet. So I personally am not that freaked out by the fact that he was having talks with foreign governments, since he was going to be president shortly anyway.TT2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 3:20 amdo you have any links to any stories about this stuff? But damn, why go to the trouble to meet in the Seychelles? As with Jared's idea to use the Russian embassy's communications, it's all so fucking suspicious. Why go to that much trouble to keep your communications away from the US government?
One thing that these constant "back channel" stories tell me, though, is that there was no ongoing active collusion. It seems like time after time, the Russians are trying to set up contact, or later the Trump people are trying to set up contact. That tells me that there was no actual contact going on, because if there was, they wouldn't need to keep trying to set up channels.
I think it's more likely that the Russians have dirt on Trump, so they knew he would do what they want without them having to explain it. So they decided to help him win because they preferred that outcome.
And, of course, the Trump campaign willingly abetted Russian subversion of the election by keeping the Russian contact attempts and meetings secret instead of reporting them to the FBI. And by publicly disputing the suggestion that the Russians had hacked the DNC or were trying to help him.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Yeah, that article goes into some of the evidence, and there’s a lot of it, that Blackwater intentionally murdered Iraqi civilians as a regular practice. Skepticism is always a good thing, especially when throwing out accusations of war crimes, but yeah, this time the accusation fits. I highly recommend the book PDX posted. Scahill is a fantastic journalist. Prince had ties to the Bush family, and they gave him ungodly sums of money to wage what Prince called a Christian crusade to rid the world of Muslims. Disturbing as fuck that about $2 Billion of our taxes have gone into his companies. Blackwater changed its name to Xe after all of the bad publicity from their mercenaries murdering Iraqi citizens for fun and another mercenary threatening to murder an Iraqi government official. Now the company is called Academi, since everyone imputed the Blackwater evils onto Xe.TT2.0 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 11, 2018 3:33 am

So, House Intel Committee ends their Russia investigation. Schiff had a statement about it.
Pompeo shifts to Secretary of State.
Sessions to CIA director.
Then Trump puts who as AG to fire Rosenstein so that Mueller gets fired?
Then how many take to the streets and riots begin?
