I would wager large sums of coin he is running in 2024 or 28, depending on how things shake out in 2020. His entire political career seems to have been pointing in that direction.Johnnie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 27, 2018 8:56 am It's funny to me that Don Jr.'s current girlfriend, as he's going through his divorce, is Kimberly Guilfoyle.
She used to be married to former San Francisco mayor and current Lt. Governor of California Gavin Newsom.
He had an extra marital affair with his campaign manager's wife as he was going through his divorce with her.
He also, at 39, was dating a 19 year old prior to that.
I bet he runs for president one day and Republicans try to shame him.

Sure, but that was 2007, a completely different era, so you can't judge him by today's societal norms.
Guilfoyle certainly has a specific type when it comes to hair styles.

I know some of you guys get mad when Dems are criticized, but this is yet another illustration of their urgent need for new and better leadership:
Re: Random Politics
And that's why careerist, out of touch Democrats need to be voted out. They just care about having their jobs and talking a big game because they aren't Republicans. Completely acting like parents who know best. Idiots.

Re: Random Politics
Legitimate criticism is fine. Schumer absolutely should be replaced. Senate was better when Reid was the leader. Reid’s a tough MF and Dems could use that in a leader. I would argue Pelosi is a fine House leader. She’s pretty good about keeping the House in line. GOP/Fox will demonize whomever is in those jobs.

Presumably, the study was based on the current private/public Medicare system and the Kochs presumably have their fingers in enough health care pies that they figure they can bleed taxpayers enough to offset any potential losses that would result from enhanced government negotiating for services.
In other words (and I'm not an expert so this is very surface-level analysis), but if you magically took 50 million uninsured or underinsured people and instantly put them on Medicare there would be a lot of "winners" and "losers", the losers of which would seemingly be prescription drug manufacturers but the winners might be for-profit medical systems who could overbill the government billions more.

Rick Wilson has been the greatest Republican (recently left GOP) voice of reason during the Trump presidency. He is funny, scathing and completely unafraid to say anything against the enablers in the GOP refusing to stand up to Trump. In the past couple weeks, his anger as flipped the dial to 11 and he looked like he was going to explode the last couple of clips I've seen of him.Johnnie wrote: ↑Mon Aug 06, 2018 3:15 pm Looks like I need to get this book:

Re: Random Politics
Watching the Ohio special election results roll is like watching a US friendly soccer game, and trying not to put too much stock or analysis into it. This seat really doesn't mean anything, but it's hard not to view it as a sign of what will happen nationwide in November. It's like watching a late 90's - early 2000s US team playing Germany or another powerhouse. You fully expect them to lose, and a close loss is a great sign, since this is a heavily red District. A win doesn't mean anything for the future, but it would feel like we are contenders.
US came out to a big lead, and I've been watching a German onslaught, hoping the defense will hold out. 59% - 40% early on, but the Republican has been slowly inching closer. Now at 75% reporting, 50.1% - 49.3%. I've been watching the reporting number closer than the votes, hoping to run out the clock. Not looking good, but this should have been a blowout for the Republican.
Cue Trump boasting about how he lead the R to victory by supporting him, or Trump crying about fake news blaming him for the loss if the D wins.
