My week 1 hot take was that Peterman is literally the worst pro athlete in the history of American team sports.

Shit. I didn't realize 2 is his jersey number, because I would've put Peterman up there.

Don’t know what is going on in Buffalo. They signed McCarron for the specific purpose of keeping the seat warm for Allen.

The talk was that Peterman won the job in preseason-if this regime thought that he was a capable QB than they have no business running an NFL team.

Maybe a $$ deal on why McCarron is gone? Or maybe they spotted his tattoo.

Or maybe they wanted to really bad so they get another top 5 pick, as the cupboard is really really bare in WingTown.

Talk of tanking is all over the place.

What I don;t get is that last year was supposed to be the heavy duty rebuilding year. Some said that this was why Coach benched Taylor for the Chargers game when they were 6-4, but Peterman was so comically inept that the outrage from the fans and media made him put Tyrod back in.

BUT - they got the future franchise QB (in theory at least). So why tank now?

I don;t recommend that anyone watch this team, but I'm telling you, Brady would have trouble passing to these receivers.

Absolutely ridiculous PI call on Dennard with Cinci up 21-0. That’s the NFL straight wanting Baltimore to stay in the game. In many respects the NFL=WWF

So do you believe the league actually is in the ref’s ear telling them to let the Ravens back in the game?

That’s a legitimately good question. Obviously, no. But I think in a weird way all refs are shills for the shield and part of the shield is no blowouts in prime time, even Thursdays. I don’t think they’re making ridiculously fake calls just fudging 75-25 calls.

I instead believe that when you see a 65 year old guy running around with prime athletes, he has no idea what is going on - too busy trying to breathe. More incompetence than corruption in my book.

Fuck this. I was on a call interviewing a Complainant for a workplace complaint with the live boxscore on. Every time I hit refresh, Green just scores. Still only 3 receptions, so not many points, right? We really only get 3 points for a 55 yard FG? This league sucks.

Maybe you should speak to the defense on your team, as they were the ones getting torched.

I don't play FFB any longer, but I remember running a league where we added or subtracted 3 points for made/missed under 50 yards, and 6 points for over 50.

That was a fun few years.
