Yeah that’s a shitty take from the start. No disrespect to John Legend but she’s the best part of that couple.

The trump rhetoric today is terrifying. Truly. Open call for violence against protestors.

They’ve been desperate for over a week; inciting Tuesday violence is their Hail Mary.

Agreed. But what’s gonna happen when they get the violence they want?

Would the 15,000 soldiers at the border have to turn on the blood-crazed American militiamen coming down to slaughter Hondurans?

No shit. I literally can't stand to hear Trump speak at all. I cannot imagine what it must take to sit through his rallies.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

I'm flummoxed. Because if you're in Ohio and close enough to get into Kentucky, you should probably just stay in Cincinnati.

(i'm assuming he didn't spend his younger business days in fucking Ironton.)

I figured it was about bourbon, except for this.

Then again, his mind is so addled he probably doesn't even remember he's never been a drinker.

There's a real internal conflict brewing with this. Posse Comitatus is a real thing. The rules of engagement for dealing with potential enemies is a real thing. I went through pre deployment training which included simulated events of what I could reasonably be engaged with while in a combat zone.

Just because a person has an AK 47 doesn't mean I can just shoot him. Deadly force is a last resort. I have to everything in my power to avoid killing someone.

And this fucking despot says rocks thrown equals bullets fired? The Pentagon must be internally fuming. They've sent the military to the border for a political stunt and possibly ruined their holidays. The most the military can do in that capacity is logistical support. Anything more is an unlawful order.

I'm beside myself that no one has come out and called bullshit.

They aren't going to keep 15,000 troops standing idly by on the border for 2 months until the walking caravan arrives. This is all a fear mongering publicity stunt to rile up Conservatives to go to the polls. It's exactly like the ebola scare right before the 2014 midterms. Obama was going to intentionally destroy the US by killing millions with the ebola virus. The GOP stood up to him by trying to ban US citizens from returning home, and keeping citizens in quarantine despite evidence they didn't actually carry the virus. The day after the election, we never heard another word about impending mass eradication of half our population. Same with the caravan, especially if Republicans win both Houses. The caravan will vanish from FoxNews, never to be heard from again. But polls of Republican voters in 2020 will show 67% of Republicans believe 45 million Hondurans were welcomed in by George Soros and the Dems, and is the reason they work two full time jobs and are still below the poverty line.

This caravan is the Africanized killer bees of the '90's.

And any time I hear Ebola I think of Eric Bolling saying "Ebola on the backs of ISIS" on TV.

The way old white people can be scared so easily by bullshit is equal parts hilarious and scary. Reminds me of my mom's helicopter parenting and overprotective nature right up until she said "here's the military, you're an adult now." It's like "Oh, you were full of shit my entire life! I get it now! Ending up like John Walsh's son was the big bad boogy man to scare me into blindly believing bullshit." It was all projection, it seems.
