He’s besties with Marvin. True BFF stuff. That’s why. He’s fine as an assistant. But, yeah, if he were not soulmates with Lewis, it wouldn’t have happened.

Also , if it wasn’t clear, I was being sarcastic in the above post - this is insane, mostly because I am 90% sure he goes back to being marvin’s replacement when the time comes - which was the plan in 2015 before he took the Browns job and proved to be one of the worst head coaches I have ever seen.

See it in Buffalo all the time. It's a delusional part of being a fan of a bad team - that's why Ralph Wilson is venerated by the majority of Bills fans for "keeping the team in Western New York" - as if he was losing money on the deal.

For fantasy reasons*, I watched the whole game and it was quite enjoyable. Not always the best football, but it was compelling and both teams clearly wanted to win.
