After working crowd control with an exodus plan that went to shut immediately I completely understand why Daenerys did what she did. It was Fyre Fest, man.

I almost got into a couple legit fights while in uniform on a military base. Mob mentality is a real thing.

Seattle and Dallas would have been on that list had they closed the deal in 2001 and 2011, respectively.

I assume the judges will disallow because Leagues was meant but....Pittsburgh qualifies if you count the 1968 ABA Champion Pittsburgh Condors who beat the New Orleans Buccaneers in a thrilling seven game series (according to Wikipedia).

When you use championships when people who are now fans were actually alive (i.e. the Super Bowl era) it's a much smaller list.

St. Louis, Chicago, Boston, New York. (LA will join with the Rams)

Boston is the only city to beat another city for all 4 championships (St. Louis) if the Flyers beat the 'hawks for the SC then Philly will join the list.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Rush, you’re forgetting a couple.

1. The Raiders won the SB after the 1983 season when they were in LA.

2. Philly is on the post-SB list. Their oldest extant champs are the Flyers in 74 and 75, which somehow means they’ve won the Grand Slam in my lifetime.

3. Hanging said that, that’s a damn good memory counting the Warriors over the (looks up the name) Chicago Stags for the first NBA title.

4. The Argos won a bunch of Grey Cups. Is The Six Grand Slam now?

Houston football is definitely one of the more underappreciated hexes. 53 years of a now-NFL franchise in the city, including 48 in the Super Bowl era. Zero appearances, and only a single AFL title to show for it. Ouch.

US Men's National Team scored it's 1000 goal last night. The first goal was by Charles H. "Dick" Spalding. Spalding’s goal against Sweden in the 22nd minute of a game in Stockholm on Aug. 20, 1916, tied that game at 1-1. The United States eventually won it, 3-1.

However he then played He played 131 games in 1927 and 1928 for the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Senators. Batted .299 over 2 years.

Only four schools have ever won a national title in football, men's basketball and baseball -- Michigan, Ohio State, UCLA and Florida.

Johnnie, have you ever been a supermodel for the day?

I was at a food festival in the city last night and they had a tank there on display. The kids would go up into the tank, the guys would ask about the military and the girls would take pictures with the hot guys in uniform.

I don't see them used very often in restaurants, even Mexican restaurants, usually in favor of jalapenos or habaneros, but I think the Anaheims have quite a bit of flavor without being as aggressively spicy. It's kind of a win-win as I get older and my body starts to struggle with spicier peppers.

I'd say Hatch is my favorite, but it's in no way "underrated", but I've swapped out Anaheims for jalapenos in most of my recipes that call for jalapenos and it's worked out for the better.

I planted my garden pretty last minute this year and just sort of grabbed what was left at HD. I always do jalapenos because they grow great here, and some bell peppers because one of my kids really likes them, but I wanted another hot pepper. I grabbed an "heirloom Tabasco", and I haven't tried one yet because they're tiny and I'm not sure when they're mature (honestly not sure if they are going to redden or stay yellow), but because they're so small they appear to grow upsidedown on the plant, and all pointing up. Just kind of neat looking.
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.

Anaheims are Hatch (or Big Jims) peppers that have different taste/heat because of where they are grown. Same ancestor though.

You really do learn something new every day. (I knew Hatch chiles could only be called that if they're grown in the Hatch Valley, but I didn't realize they were so closely related).
