I don't know it anyone could be persuaded from their position, all sides are so deeply dug in now, and there can't possibly be any undecided after three years of this shambles

"Operation Yellowhammer" Document Released

Commissioned by the Conservative government to try and figure out what will happen after a no-deal Brexit.

So Project Fear was actually Project Truth - is there any single thing that will improve in ordinary peoples lives after Brexit, apart from having a fucking blue passport and a brand spanking new 50p piece.

Potential shortages of fuel, food and medicine.

Expats no longer having health insurance. Potential for civil disturbances that will stretch police forces...

You know, the fact that Rees-Mogg's investment company moved its head office out of the U.K. should speak volumes.

The Conservatives really have been running out an abysmal string of Prime Ministers.

And yet, they are still well up on Labour in the polls.

Jeremy Corbyn has been an unmitigated disaster, a walking reminder as to why there was a (what seems to have been a joke) "Tories For Corbyn" movement back when Labour was holding its leadership campaign.

Anyone could join the Labour party and vote online for the next leader. One would think that other parties have seen the result and will never repeat this process.

The quality of both parties leaders seems to have be on a downward trajectory for quite some time, or is it just me getting older and more cynical by the day, probably both sadly.

The hypothesis that Johnson is trying to crash the British economy at the behest of billionairres who have shorted the British economy and the Pound is...wait, that actually makes a lot of sense in terms of explaining all of this.

Right? If any proof of this can be brought as far as Johnson or Tory leadership knowing about it, I'd hope the Brits would react much more swiftly and fiercely than Americans have after the billionaires tanked our economy in '08. Like basically demonstrating/rioting in the streets angry I'd hope.

A couple weeks ago, we were in Austria with some good friends from England. They are both enthusiastically anti-Brexit. They are so dismayed by all this mess that they recently sold their home in the Midlands and are moving to Scotland. The husband is originally from Edinburgh and expects Scotland to pursue independence from England once Brexit takes hold, given that when Scotland voted to not secede from the UK a few years back, it was partially based on assurances that the UK would stay in the EU.

Fucking Jeremy Corbyn.

How loathed are Jeremy Corbyn and his lackeys?

Latest UK Election Poll

Even with all the idiocy by the Conservatives, even with the launch of the hard right Brexit Party, even with the Conservative Prime Minister being a laughing stock...

Labour is still polling 17% LESS than it did in the 2017 election (which it lost).

God help the UK.
