Assuming Kirk Cousins turns back into Kirk Cousins, I wonder if Miami would accept him and a first rounder for like a 7th in the offseason?

Besides the couple years of Chris Johnson and those two weeks when Billy Volek was a thing, the Titans have been sonombulant on offense since they've been in Tennessee.

Have the Cowboys cut their kicker yet? Feel bad for the guy, but he ate shit yesterday.

With no run up and blockers in front its just impossible to get there unless someone drops it. At least at 5 yards the guy catching it has to think about getting plowed. At 10 with blockers its just stupid. Kickoffs and onside kicks used to be super exciting.
Yes they would try. Not sure even an NFL guy would generate that much power in three steps. At least not much more than usual. More fear and anticipation than reality. But yeah. Fastballs off a kickers foot would be fun.

Poorly phrased. The kicker yes. Heat. Tacklers from a dead stop in three steps.... Not that much worse than a regular play.

On a regular play they're able to brace for contact or protected by defenseless receiver rules, no?

Just got told off on a Browns fan site on Facebook for saying that I would trade Mayfield for Murray in a heartbeat.

This team plays the Seahawks and Pats in the next two weeks.

I don't like tOSU and Nick Bosa may well be an asshole but that celebration was pretty funny.

So...it turns out the 49ers might indeed be really good. That running game combined with that defense is a pretty great answer to passing offenses, and it will travel in any weather.

Baker Mayfield may turn out to be the biggest asshole in the league? Apparently Richard Sherman had some strong words for him after the game about not shaking hands.

Teams are loading up on faster, and usually smaller, defensive players to counter the passing offenses, so it's cool to see teams taking advantage of that with a good running game. Also, shows the value of having linebackers and dbs that can defend both the pass and run.

I imagine a lot of Ohio people who are fans of both the Browns/Mayfield and tOSU had weird mixed feelings about Nick Bosa's celebration with the imaginary tOSU flag, trolling Baker hard.

There are probably a lot of Mayfield fans who are heading towards being non-fans.

I'm one. He's beginning to remind me of JP Losman.

It's interesting that Mayfield didn't really earn the benefit of the doubt by virtue of kind of being a shithead throughout his college and pro career though. When most people heard Sherman's side of the story they were like "that tracks, sure".

Fuck Richard Sherman. Trash talking a guy who not only gave him a handshake, but gave him a nice pass as well.

Didn't Belichick want Sherman on the Pats a season or so ago? I feel like that was a thing, but I can't remember.

There was talk, but it wouldn't have worked money wise. Bill talks a lot about players he loves (Ed Reed comes to mind.)

Do like that Sherman did give the Pats props after this though.
