Gonna be that guy and say the Steelers almost got dicked by shitty PI calls (or non-calls) and the wackass review results. I think both the PI that was called and OPI that wasn’t were bad calls, but not sure Tomlin should have challenged the second since it’s clear the bar to make a change in review is so high. Even saying that I didn’t have an issue with the first challenge.
Thankfully Vinatieri can’t kick anymore.
I'll play homer here but I don't want to hear about it in that game. a total of 10 points gifted to PIT on absolutely egregious 15 yard roughness penalties. That was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in a long time, on both sides.
And yea, Vinny needs to go.
Only saw chunks of the 4th quarter via Red Zone, so no comment.
Same. BSF - which plays were these? I'm gonna look them up on Twitter.
Thankfully there's just something about the Steelers and Colts kickers missing last minute FGs by 30 yards that go together so well.
Pack a vest for your james in the city of intercourse
Ok just saw the one on Darius Leonard - while the idea of diving at guys going to the ground is something that I don't mind being flagged, he really didn't land the shot and that does look like a really weak call.

The 2 I'm talking about were the one at the end of the first half that let them kick a 0:00 FG (this was the less bad of the 2. I just thought it was awfully soft for "helmet to helmet". The second one was a 15 yard flag for pushing JuJu out of bounds (the shove occurred 3 steps inside the sideline). A player off the field shoved Leonard at the end of that play, no flag.

Speaking of Red Zone, the guy on the non-DirectTV version seems to talk a lot less than Siciliano on DTV. I think I like it.
Is there a way to watch Red Zone if you have DirecTV but not Sunday Ticket?

No! Unless you get them to comp some portion of the price, the list price for Sunday Ticket MAX (the addon package with RZ) is about $400.
My goto complaint every year when I called to get my discount centered around RZ, but this year they wouldn't budge.

You can use this website to illegally steam stuff, including Red Zone in HD with Hansen: www.nflbite.com
But you should get a VPN regardless, like Private Internet Access. And for more reasons than this...

I'm not paid to shilll for DAZN...
But I paid $150 for the year and I get every NFL game and the Red Zone (as well as all the other stuff).
You're in Canada.
...because you can VPN into Canada.
(Not saying that will immediately correct it because they probably go off of billing address, but still. Depending upon how many can be logged into an account at once, you can spoof your location.)

It used to be really easy to get illegal streams online, but that's gotten to be a pain in the ass finding one that works without having to download shit. I just don't trust downloading anything from those sites. In the old days, you had to download player software the first time you visited the site, maybe it's legit, but I'm not taking a chance.

I realize I might be in the minority, but I don't steal stuff online.
Which is 100% fair. I'd probably be a bit more tightened up about it, but 1) I've been deployed and getting "normal" things requires breaking a couple eggs, 2) the NFL makes billions of dollars a year and blackout rules are a thing for whatever dumb reason, 3) it's just too easy.

My bullshit personal rules for this sort of stealing and "stealing" could probably start up a new thread.
To be clear, I get that and I don't even necessarily have a huge issue with what Johnnie was talking about but if I have to go to the trouble of using a VPN to access content I'm not licensed to get then it's not worth it to me from a moral perspective and from an effort perspective, mostly the latter.
NFL would be outside my moral scope as a massive corporation. Like how I'd burn a Beatles album from the library no problem but would never do that with a modern artist.
Johnnie wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 8:13 pmOh shit, you just reminded me about toilet paper.
(Like MrD said, when you start talking about the moral gray area in "stealing" from an entity like the NFL*, you can pretty easily talk yourself into justifying it and I think I honestly probably personally could. But it's just not worth it to me for most of this stuff when I could just pay y dollars a month for x streaming service for music or for movies or whatever.)
* - The NFL's bullshit monopoly given to DirecTV in the United States is a whole other enchilada and another reason I'd never talk shit about anyone "stealing" their content.
ETA: Think we basically said same thing at same time.

You really should move up here.
Not to threadjack, but my wife and I just booked a trip to Puerto Vallarta in January to look at neighborhoods and get some ideas of pricing on condos in certain areas in case we decide to move there in January 2021. I'll bet the NFL package is probably ridiculously cheap en México.
I had to get a VPN because the internet in Germany was not favorable in terms of things like Netflix and HBO Go. I'm grandfathered in at $32 a year. The prices have gone up since.
