If you're north and or west enough in NJ that the trees iced up last night and stayed frozen when the sun came out it's really pretty today.

Wife left Morristown in the middle of the squall. Maybe 10 miles from home. She said she couldn't see more than a few feet in front of her, already 2 inches. I was outside, clear skies, no sign of snow. She stayed on the phone with me, got into our town, maybe 2 miles away, still snowing, while I hadn't seen a single flake. She drove past the new house, backyard was snowing, accumulation on the back of the driveway, front yard didn't get snow, not even wet. Never got a flake at the old house, 1.5 miles away.

Opposite side of Springfield from your old house, behind Zita’s, back like 4 blocks:

Zita’s is so good. I’m not usually a huge s’mores fan but the graham cracker ice cream there is elite.

It's 47 degrees and sunny here.

Just back from the golf course with the dog, and there were a couple of young knuckleheads playing (illegally). Snow still covers like a third of the course, but these kids were having a great time.

55 and sunny in Cleveland today, and I know a couple of courses are open today and tomorrow. If I weren't working today I'd consider playing.

I played yesterday and today and am playing tomorrow too. they did a 10 a.m. shotgun start thing for tomorrow to get everyone on and off the course by 3 and with LA scheduled to work, I've got nothing else to do

It is 52 degrees and absolutely pouring in Toronto.

52 degrees in January? It was in the mid 40s yesterday as well.

Flood warnings, as the prediction is for 2-3 inches of rain by tonight.

It was 77 yesterday. Today it is 45 with sustained North winds of 25, gusts to 50. I've been ice fishing in warmer weather.

When we got home from the Super Bowl party yesterday, our neighbor's tree had a huge branch snapped in half, our grill blew over and our garbage bins are long gone.

We were the opposite. Sunday afternoon was snowing, today was 55. Crazy snow, it was 38 degrees and these huge flakes started coming down hard for a couple of hours, but nothing stuck because the ground was warm. Unfortunately, my parents were driving home from my at that time, and wrecked their car in the Poconos. My mom said she was checking the weather for PA and upstate NY all day, never called for snow, even as they were driving in a storm and the snow was accumulating. Weather channel app is usually extremely accurate, but didn't say snow until an hour after it started.

Parents were fine, but car wasn't. Hit ice, went into the cement median.

Yup. We're right between Brian and you, so we woke up to over a foot of snow in the valleys yesterday and temps in the teens today.

And only a few inches up in the mountains. Very weird.
