I am proof that defense wins championships.
In the Premiership I have 586 points for. Only one team has less, but only one team has less points against. So I am 5-3, 1 game back of first place.
So, I had the Dallas defense. Losing my fantasy game by ten points. Then - Did you notice the last play of the game? Sack/fumble/touchdown = 11 point play.
Huge game against Giff tonight. Got Conner and JuJu going. Both out before halftime. On the plus side, it's helping my chances for the Browns D to do something... I fucking hate this league so much.

Made the playoffs in one of the 3 pools I'm in. In the Bensell pool I was mathematically eliminated weeks ago, but in one of my money pools, I did the smart thing and started Foles against the shitty Bucs defence and benched Prescott.
Foles got -7.5 points for me.

#2 seed and highest points in the league I commish
Made playoffs in the league with a few Swampers despite someone tanking their team trying to keep me out. They were an amazing Texans performance away from pulling it off.
Have a chance at the #8 seed tonight in Bensell if Metcalf can get me to three points higher than the team currently holding that spot.

Why that guy was so scared to face my team, I'll never know. The Ostram league was a good run, but I'm bowing out. Unless you decide to switch to Yahoo, move to fractional points and get rid of the ancient waiver wire system.
In the big pay league I've commished and never won for 18 years, I had high point for the season with a #2 seed. Destroyed this week and have a really nice set-up for a championship run. That $1100 would be nice the Sunday before Xmas!

Guessed right in a couple places today. Barring a 30 point game from the Eagles D, looks like I made the Semi finals.
Lets agree to root for somewhere between 4 and 29 points?

I'll only go as high as 28.9

Sooo ... how often does the NFL stat correct a sack into a negative rushing play? Because right now I'm advancing by 0.16 and kinda need all points to stand.

It happened in Week 12 of this year. Lamar Jackson had a sack turned into a rushing play for a loss of 7 yards. Turned a one-point loss into a tie and division title for me. Correction was made on the Wednesday night after the game.

Hard to get back into fantasy football. DSafe's league I was out a few weeks ago, and my law school league I clinched the division 3 weeks ago and had a bye last week. I haven't followed a damned thing, and now it's hard to care...
So it seems like I should start Jameis Winston v Lions over Aaron Rodgers v. Bears. I really hate doing that, but Rodgers just hasn't put up numbers. They are so opposite, Winston plays like shit and gets huge points despite tons of INTs, and Rodgers plays masterful games with few points.
Struggling with my RB2 decision. Chubb v. Cards or Ekeler v. Vikes? I feel like Hunt is cutting into Chubb's numbers. It's PPR (half point), so Ekeler has some added value.

PPR or not, you should start Chubb every week.
I pretty much have the entire season, and Ekeler has 22 more points than Chubb on the season, and had a higher total most weeks.

Minnesota is 10th in fewest points allowed to RBs (and 3rd in receptions allowed to RBs), Arizona is 22nd.
CLE with both RBs available (last five weeks):
Chubb: 99-478-1 rushing, 7-95-0 receiving, PPR RB13
Hunt: 34-153-2 rushing, 22-158-1 receiving, PPR RB12
Start Chubb.
And Winston. Detroit is 25th in QB points allowed (and probably pretty close to quitting, in general). Akiem Hicks is expected back for the Bears, which will help their defense against the Packers.

Ekeler should be unsustainable but it keeps working. He's getting like 13 touches per week and throwing up a guaranteed 10 with double or triple that at times.

PPR Flex (pick one):
[ ] Cooks
[ ] Hurns
[ ] Lazard
[ ] Miller (Chi)
[ ] Murray
[ ] Smith-Schuster
[ ] Washington (Pitt)
[ ] Don't bother, how the fuck did this roster make it to the semifinals anyway?

I kinda like Murray's chances to get about 12-14 carries and a couple catches, thinking the Saints salt this one away by the end of the third.

Barring Kamara outscoring Pascal by 47 points, I'm going to my first championship game (and $775) thanks in large part to Breshad Perriman (and King Lamar).
