What am I missing? Why wouldn't a team pick up Suggs for the stretch run? If he's better than your wosrt situational pass rusher, what's the issue?

Not just yet though. I can barely breathe as beating Miami and Cleveland to end year 3-13 and picking behind dolphins and losing out on Burrow very much still on table.

Dear lord I want Burrow to re-start this thing. I am most assuredly not as young as I used to be.

I've been looking for a clip of that press conference, can't find it. Classic. "I'm 80 years old! I want results now!"

are Browns players just telling every opponent "come get me" at this point? the stories make sense when they involve teams currently in the playoffs. not as much sense when they involve teams that could get a top-five pick

Or it could just be that things are so toxic there they would literally go anywhere. (I don't really know, just saying it makes sense on that level.)

I think the Browns were up there because of the perceived risk/reward on the bets. They had the 13th-best odds before the season per PFR.

(Bears were tied for 4th FWIW)
