This makes me feel bad that we only get notified in three ways about school closings/delays (text, voicemail message, email with recording of message attached).

I need replies.

You're no Simone Biles - you are only in your 5th decade.

What makes me feel old is that the day I got married, you still didn't have a drivers license.

Born April 6, 1969, actor Paul Rudd ('Clueless,' 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin,' 'Anchorman,' 'Ant-Man,' 'Living with Yourself' & many more) is 18,530 days old today, matching Wilford Brimley's age the day 'Cocoon' was released. Congrats, Paul -- you've reached the Brimley/Cocoon Line.

Ah! The New Math!

I was thinking more of a personal count of decades.

So this means that I am in my 7th decade.

I would have guessed that Winfield Senior was drafted by the Bills maybe 12 years ago or so. Wow.

My father would have been 80 today. For some reason that really hit me hard today. So many questions about how my life would be different had he lived. Would I still be with my wife? Would I have a different career? Would he be proud of the father I am or the job I have? Would he care?

Rough day so far.

Cleaning out a closet today. Grabbed a shoebox to chuck and it was full of pictures. Dad’s drivers license was on the very top. Just saying.

Let's see, in the past three hours I've (i) appeared before a federal judge who's definitely and visibly younger than me, (ii) had a partner tell me she has never seen The Sting and doesn't really know what it's about, and (iii) forgot what the third thing was.
