Yeah unreal. It's really hard to fathom that at some place and time a group of people sat around a table and had some sort of agreed on thought process where they thought this would be a good idea and approved it?

I too am frustrated at the inability of these people to know the difference between a monkey and a chimpanzee.

(and yeah, the obvious racist part is frustrating too)

Guy who used to work for me was in a band called "Drunk Monkey". They made t-shirts with a fat orange Orangutan on them.

Zlatan bring Zlatan. Apparently he was asked at his press conference if now that he signed in Series A if be was ready to play against the best players in the world. His response was to ask if Messi had signed for a Series A team.

Charlton are such a, "where are they now" club for me. When I got back into soccer they were in the prem, in London, and had Darren Bent and Alan Pardew. I suppose teams like QPR and Palace took their mantle, in my mind, at least. (Fulham are an outlier for me). Looking forward to reading more about this.

This is where I'm supposed to say that every team violates FFP and you're all haters and count the (domestic) rings, right? I assume they'll appeal it out.

How leaked emails and invoices led to Manchester City's ban from Europe
One of the emails, from City’s then chief financial officer, Jorge Chumillas, headed “Cashflow”, stated that Mansour’s own company vehicle, the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), would be paying £57m as a “contribution to 13/14 sponsorship fee”, while only £8m was Etihad’s “direct contribution”.
Not just crooked, but arrogant as all hell. Which considering UEFA's usual toothlessness is understandable.
These public responses after the charges were laid were consistent with the second element exposed by the emails: how hostile and confrontational City had been to Uefa, and to FFP itself, throughout the process of compliance – at times distastefully so.
About time this happened. Want to bet that PSG fans won;t be sleeping well tonight?

Maybe they'll be like MLB and happy making one team the scapegoat for widespread cheating despite obvious evidence of others cheating as well? [insert shrug emoji]
