Who spilled on the new USA blue jerseys? Why does South Korea go Zebra stripes? And Nigeria just gets kit design.
Also nice job by Nike launching kits the same day as the MLS kit rollout.

Re: Uniforms, Logos, and Such
I really like the USA white ones. If they would have made the socks two stripes, but no nike logo, it'd be perfect. (Well a three striped sock would actually be perfect, but I'm sure Nike is allergic to anything with three stripes. I'd even go for the crest where the logo is on the socks, but I really hate that big ass logo. Maybe just the swoosh would be better?
I love what I've seen with both S. Korean unis.

I’m trying to wrap my head around physics of 6 guys launching a 200 lb. mascot so far that he’s above the rim 23 feet away, to say nothing of the alley oop toss and catch.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

My guess is 150 lbs. Not that it makes that any less amazing.

Wow, someone finally recreated Tom Chambers's dunk from Lakers vs. Celtics.

Eh, it's high altitude. Like Bob Beamon.
(No, it's fucking amazing. I'd love to hear how they decided to try that.)
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

I mean I like this in that it is inoffensive and the logo is literally just a wordmark in blockish sort of font, so it'll pairwell with whatever.
Also I have one of their tumblers and it will sometimes keep ice frozen for two or more days which basically witchcraft
Re: Uniforms, Logos, and Such
Do people put Yeti stickers on their vehicles in places other than Texas?

Not to be a biased opinion, but my hydroflask tumbler keeps coffee warmer/longer then my Yeti one.wlu_lax6 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2020 12:52 pm So Austin FC picks up the first shirt sponsor....YETI.

Re: Uniforms, Logos, and Such
Vacuum double walled tumblers and such is not rocket science. Innovation is hard to stay out in front in spaces where knockoffs from the same people who build your product overseas is tough.A_B wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2020 11:00 pmI’ve got some non yeti stuff that works great too. Re: Uniforms, Logos, and Such
I got a couple of knock-off tumblers (2 of them for less than 1/2 the price of one comparable Yeti) last summer to better hide our beach drinks and a Yeti for Christmas that I've used exclusively for coffee. Everything works great!

I'm guessing the people with Yeti stickers aren't coffee mug enthusiasts, but hunters. They make hunting gear, including giant coolers for storing slaughtered animals.Giff wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 10:19 amWhile it doesn't help me understand the phenomenon, it makes me feel better it's not limited to Texas.
ETA: Probably should have said butchered, I have nothing against hunters or hunting. It's necessary, but the thought of it bores the hell out of me, so I'm happy other people control animal populations so I don't have to.

Stereotyping by the cars I see them on, they are most definitely NOT hunters up here. Unless those are shotguns in their Thule roof racks.

Jesus Christ, of course. I just know that Yeti the big brand name among hunters, and the Yet stickers I see tend to be on pickup trucks with camo stickers.A_B wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 2:51 pmYou do know that coolers can be used for other things, right? The Sybian wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 2:45 pmI'm guessing the people with Yeti stickers aren't coffee mug enthusiasts, but hunters. Not of what The Sybian says makes it any less weird that people feel the need to advertise their choice in coolers or cups.

Re: Uniforms, Logos, and Such
I got a Yeti cooler as my 20-year anniversary gift from my company. Can honestly say the cooler does a GREAT job at keeping things cold, but JFC I hate the damned zipper that closes it. It's a nightmare to try to open and close that damned thing.

For some reason people really like their beer cheese around here. I mean, I like a good one, but most are just bleh to me. Friend makes his own and it's the best I've had. But it really is a cottage industry.
