Sporcle II

Give this a shot, eh. "Movies with one-word titles". 30. 7 minutes. You get the last names of the director and a principal actor and the release year. I think that I spelled everything right. But a second pair of eyes will usually catch errors I missed. Might be a couple of tricky ones. Nothing obscure. I'd be surprised if there was anything there you didn't know.

No Googlipedia! Good luck: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Various_Pe ... ilm-titles" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

BTW, probably a typo, but the first clue has the year off by a decade.

That was a fun one. I got 21. Should have gotten a few more. Hell, I own one of the movies I missed (and I don't own that many movies).

This is some bullshit. Also Tazmania and Tanzinia are not the same country and reading helps.

This is great. I've got 21 already, and 7 minutes left to ponder the other 19.

That was actually really cool, and I haven't followed baseball for 20 years. I got 11, and around 7 or 8 correct answers I guessed in the wrong place and wasn't smart enough to think of again. A majority of the players were active at some point during my fandom.

Went back and got two more, then got frustrated and gave up. Looking at the ones I missed, I should've gotten at least 3-4 more.

I'm terrible at uniform numbers for any sport. I just so rarely pay attention. For some reason, I've just always gone by size/shape/position/etc of the player instead.

Throughout childhood and teen years, knowing uniform numbers was part of being a fan and a point of pride. Now, I'm hard pressed to fill out the Giants scorecard at the end of a season of daily viewing. I'd need three guesses to tell you Panda's number.

I've watched pretty much every UVA basketball game for the past two years, but I don't think I could tell you any player's number. I might remember London Perrantes's, but only because I read about how he changed to 32 this year to honor Magic Johnson.

I made a quiz. Chedda messed it up because I guess he subscribes to me? I dunno. Anyway, just was rolling around in bed last night and this just wouldn't get out of my head.

http://www.sporcle.com/games/bondad/wha ... eer-record" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Note: The number listed in the clue is the current record, not what the record was when the record was broken. There are decoy answers in there as well and you can only miss three times before YOU LOSE.

Didn't turn out like I hoped - with lots of road names that subtly hinted at where you were. There were a few of those, but it mostly either "Bill Walsh Way" or "2nd St".

If you're talking about MetLife, that one was perfect.
