They fall for the bluster. Somehow they don't see it as the extreme insecurity and cowardice that it masks. He is the bully who runs away at the first sign of someone standing up to him. What I really don't get is after all the years of calling for personal responsibility and attacking people for playi ng the victim card and calling out "Liberal snowflakes," they love a supposed Billionaire in the most powerful job in the world who refuses to take responsibility for anything, ever, and constantly complains about how the media is so unfair to him, and can't take even the most mild criticism of anything he does.
I listened to Joe Rogan's second interview with Congressman Dan Crenshaw (the former SEAL with the eyepatch). He wrote a book about claiming personal responsibility and not playing the victim. He is a huge Trump supporter and spend half the interview railing against the victimhood syndrome and defending Trump against the unfair media attacks against him. I was screaming for Joe to ask him about Trump constantly crying about being the poor little victim of everything from everyone.

Sybian falling for the media narrative. It is NOT Trump, he is for US and is draining the deep swamp. The real fault lies with the 100+ people that he has fired or needs to fire because they can't get it done #FireFauci #FireEveryone #FireThePope #FIREMEINTOTHESUN

Wonder if this would be a good time for the Dem candidate for president to be on every news channel blasting their handling of the situation.

It would, if he could be trusted to make a coherent statement without rambling and sputtering out a bunch of malarkey.

You wasted your time with that shit? I saw the Angry Pirate was on and said no. Then he was on Bill Maher's show and he deflected every single time he was challenged about Trump. You have to keep the praise high for Dear Leader. I would love to see Rick Wilson be on a panel with One Eyed Willy and tear him to shreds. The Sybian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:23 amI listened to Joe Rogan's second interview with Congressman Dan Crenshaw (the former SEAL with the eyepatch). Crenshaw came across as reasonable and intelligent on Rogan, because Joe doesn't understand politics well enough or just decides not to push back. If I didn't know the issues, I'd think Crenshaw was reasonable, but he starts every argument with a false premise of what the Dems believe or want. Crenshaw is intelligent and a very good persuasive speaker, but he is arguing against strawmen and false assumptions and motives. It's infuriating. At times, I think he actually believed the motives or goals he imparted to Dems, but at other times I thought he was full of shit and intentionally muddying the waters.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 3:12 pmAre any of those people actually capable of holding their own on a neutral court?Johnnie wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 12:53 pmYou wasted your time with that shit? Johnnie, I debated deleting the episode, but Crenshaw's first interview was less political and I was curious to hear him out. It's much different giving a guy 2 hours of conversation rather than only seeing 5 minute clips of grandstanding or a youtube video of guy trying to egg him into creating a viral moment. Hearing his explanation of some of his policy ideas, I do believe he isn't evil (I wasn't sure before), but somewhat misguided and having different assumptions on human nature and fallout of economic policies.

Oh yea. Fucking no they can't.
"So you're telling me if Obama acted in exactly this same way as Trump, you'd only oppose him based on policy he would put forth and not his temperament, words, actions, and imbecility? So this is a completely normal and professional way to act as president?"

A lot of these Republicans are exceptionally smart and have attended great schools. However, they decide to turn to the dark side due to profit motive. The Sybian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 3:45 pm.Johnnie, I debated deleting the episode, but Crenshaw's first interview was less political and I was curious to hear him out. If you're a "-R" I already assume a bad faith argument is brewing and the bottom line is "own the Libs." Whatever it takes to be the bigger asshole and help yourself is paramount.
So he may come across as decent, but I'm good. He should know better as a former Navy SEAL.

That may be the most shocking thing I have seen in months - Tom Arnold actually came up with something funny.

After the United States is a smoldering rubble, Trump will finally start claiming 100 percent approval among Republicans.

Tom Arnold is good for off-color one liners. I remember his response to Roseanne mocking his dick size was along the lines of "a 747 looks small when its crashing into the grand canyon" or something like that which made me laugh.

A real man would have 3 copies of his books prominently displayed and actually have the flag hanging up. What dum dum!

As far as election messaging goes, I don't know that Biden/Dems really need to stray too far beyond "Trump was/is willing to let seniors die for a small bump in the economy".

Easy solution, Seniors can't go to the polls during the epidemic and we can kill them off by removing restrictions and letting the virus run wild. Why do you think the GOP are pushing for banning vote by mail without any evidence whatsoever of fraud. And hey, let's shut down the Post Office so we can't vote by mail.
Speaking of vote by mail, anyone see the clip of a reporter asking Trump why he is so against vote by mail, yet he voted by absentee ballot in 2018? Somehow mailing in an absentee ballot is perfectly safe and permissible. Same fucking system, dummy.

And this is why we need to fire the Inspector General overseeing the disbursement of these funds! And let's start murdering journalists for looking into it, too. They are just nasty people, no wonder their industry is failing. So unfair to Trump.sancarlos wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 1:47 pmPruitt wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 12:13 pm Shocked, shocked I tell you.

Prediction: This year's September/October "surprises" for Trump will be the NFL returning and U.S. Attorney John Durham issuing a report (or maybe even indictment) bashing John Brennan and other ex-Obama intel officials for lies/leaks related to the start of the Russiagate investigation.tennbengal wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:16 am True. Soooo, exactly what constituents are complaining that mailing stuff is too cheap? What's the calculus here? Make a service that everyone uses suddenly quadruple in price?
Re: Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part V - All Hail King Donald, First of his name
Let free market capitalism figure it out, baby.
What strikes me is that there's an angle to seize that Democrats aren't doing. Making the point: "The USPS is the only way that troops can receive mail while in theater. If you remove the Post Office, you remove the troops' ability to revive morale strengthening packages."
I mean, you can then contact out mail to DHL, UPS, or FedEx, but that would cost far too much money.
This is all a bullshit scam to reduce the ability of voting by mail.

Has he once even pretended to care about or acknowledge those who have died or their families? Other than saying he didn't want the cruise ship in CA to bring the American citizens on land because it "would make my numbers look bad," I haven't seen him acknowledge any sick people once.
