How much do you want to bet that either a) he's not taking it, or b) his doctor is giving him one of these:

And telling him its the drug?

There's never been a successful vaccine for a coronavirus. I'd love to think someone came up with one after five months, but I don't think it's going to happen that quickly. Hope I'm wrong.

All current employees of Las Vegas Strip resorts are required to get coronavirus testing last week and this week in anticipation of opening the casinos at the end of the month. (My wife has to go in today and get tested even though the spas are likely not opening for at least another month if not longer).

It's going to be interesting to see how this goes. Could be potentially devastating to the economy here if there are huge outbreaks that can get traced back to people deciding to party it up in Las Vegas. I'm sympathetic to the business owners and there's so many ancillary businesses here that are dependent on the casinos being re-opened but I still can't help thinking this is going to be a complete shitshow.

About that...might have been only related to stock market manipulation (my supposition). Since we don't have effective oversight of anything in this country any more, we'll probably never know.

I mean, you can grow potatoes just about anywhere, just ask Matt Damon.

Bulk come from states like Idaho, Washington... But, sure, VA has some potato crops.

Virginia potatoes is a distraction for Mike Pompeo right now. The ridiculous dinners and the firing of the IG investigating him.

And this is really the true failing of journalism right now. It's across the board. They eat up whatever he puts out, without circling back and pointing out why he is (likely) saying what he is saying.

The IG was yet another Friday after the bell firing. And we've got morons talking about potatoes the next week.

Very fucking frustrating.

The second largest board game convention in the world. The first, Essen Spiel, was also cancelled this year.

Bolsonaro personally organized and participated in anti-social distancing rallies, at a point when every other major country was enforcing restrictions. Add his idiocy to the fact that Brazil has huge cities, with lots of urban poverty, and it's a recipe for disaster. Who know if we'll ever get an accurate count of Brazil, but even based on the reported figures Brazil is second to the U.S. in total cases, with the numbers climbing rapidly.

I went to pick up some carry out at shake shack for lunch. It’s in a kind of outdoor mall with a lot of stores and restaurants. Outside of employees there was only one other person wearing a mask. Wtf?

Shake Shack is a fast-foodish place that makes OK burgers and really good milkshakes and even those are not really standing in line for and not a kind of outdoor mall with a lot of stores and restaurants.

Interesting ... I’m a big fan in large part because their buns are easily the best in common fast food.

(Related, the 15 months without any red meat ended last night.)

I don’t know what it is but I just don’t care for their burgers. It pressed to go and eat there I will usually get a Chicago dog but today I offered to pick up a couple of places. But your point about buns is true. They do have good buns.

Also not all of the restaurants are back open yet in that mall. My favorite place is right next doo to shank shack and may not open back again amid you listen to rumors. Who knows. It’s a bbq joint with some great smoked wings.

Truly elite combo. I’ve never had real white sauce, just made from recipes, and the first half dozen were meh and the last one I settled on was amazing.
