This movie is Bill Murray's greatest performances of which no one speaks.

Kevin Bacon shows his hog in this movie.

Start at the beginning, as there are Paramount and Mandalay logos to wait through.

Pause point will be at the end of the scene where Denise Richards attacks Matt Dillon, breaking his award.

I saw this once about a year after it came out, but not since, so it's almost new for me. I do remember the scene rass alluded to, though.

Bill Murray was in this?

I remember this getting some good reviews at the time in the "it's trashy fun" sense. I guess it aged badly?

I haven't seen it in about the same amount of time, though I stumbled across it flipping channels a few months ago and caught a few minutes including one of Bill Murray's scenes which made me remember how good he was in it. So I'm basically in the same boat.

My recollection of it jibes with the "good" reviews though. I don't remember the movie taking itself too seriously.

"Semi-Charmed Life" seems like the kind of song that was picked because it was popular when the movie was made, but the content somehow makes its inclusion seem planned 20 years later.

This movie exists to make us ask the question of where a theoretical mother-daughter three-way with Denise Richards and Theresa Russell would rank amongst other movies. It's gotta be top 10 in the history of cinema easy.
