It was obvious when it was happening, but it's confirmed that this was, in fact, fuckery.

If you pulled out a blade near that van you'd have dozens of bullet wounds within seconds.

You'd have a dozen, and 46 innocent bystanders would also have multiple bullet wounds.

Something like that is going to happen soon.

Between the paramilitary activities, the angry protestors and hyper-armed "militias" and others, something horrible and fatal is going to occur.

And, as I always try to point out... They can plot and scheme, but the vast majority of Americans isn't buying this shit.
As dangerous as Barr is, his scheming with Trump shouldn’t draw Democrats into a panic. Trump’s and Barr’s efforts to gain partisan advantage by abusing police power and trampling constitutional rights have backfired thus far. Just as Trump’s 2018-vintage abuse of military power to gin up white panic over “caravans” of migrants traveling toward the southern border didn’t help Republicans avoid a midterm landslide, his determination to ignore the pileup of genuine crises the country faces, and inundate Americans with manufactured ones instead, won’t necessarily help his party’s cause, and may actively harm it.

The same logic extends to whatever else Trump and Barr have in store. Nearly everything Trump associates himself with soon becomes toxically unpopular, and we should expect that pattern to apply to any “report” Barr issues in bad faith, and any attempt he makes after the election to disenfranchise millions of voters. Trump may even be so widely loathed that the results of the election will be clear on election night, despite a pandemic-induced surge in mail voting, and Barr will fall back. Either way, there is no scenario in which Barr and Trump try to junk millions of ballots without triggering a mass revolt. Their thinking is premised on the very high likelihood that Trump loses both the national popular vote and the swing-state vote, but that the latter margin may be close enough to nullify through lawfare or brute force. If this thinking becomes widely understood before the election, it could fuel enough turnout to spoil their plans, or discourage Barr and Trump from fomenting a legitimacy crisis, or both.

With NYPD cars having run into protestors this spring, advising them to lie on the ground in a circle around the van is inadvisable for similar reasons.

So...is the only way this ends is if Biden somehow wins and then calls the military out to disband police?

Because, otherwise, if trump wins,...the police have sided with the white supremacists and they have all the guns and in that scenario the libs really do get got.

Nah. Biden will win solidly enough, just like Obama did in 2008. There will be crap like the Tea Party all over again, and probably a few more instances of stochastic terrorism, but even those assholes aren't going to go to war over Joe Biden.

One theory would hold that in a second term, a president wouldn't have to be guided by a need for reelection and would therefore be guided by his heartfelt principles. But, as far as I can tell, Trump's only guiding principles are his personal desires for money, fame, and importance. But, based on his cabinet appointments, one could also infer that he really wants to destroy a lot of entrenched institutions (such as NATO and other alliances, environmental protection, business regulation, affirmative action, ...) Sooo...

I'm not sure this is true. I'm financially equal or better than four years ago but mentally in a far worse place, which is part of the intent.

Well, sure, but that's in response to people on the left (sort of) rioting, burning shit, etc. I have no doubt that the more the non-right burns buildings, that will give police and their allies on the violent right a platform for their own, deadlier, violence.

If Biden wins the election, though, I don't think the non-right will be out there burning buildings down.

"Kyle" (second of these two tweets) is the guy believed to have shot and killed protestors in Kenosha last night. There's more in the thread I pulled this tweet from.

Like the second of these two tweets.

"I just killed somebody."
It's right at the start as he runs toward/past the person shooting the footage.
"I just killed somebody."
Think about that.
"I just killed somebody."
Police not just allowed this, but thanked the person for being out on the streets with a gun.
"I just killed somebody."

Yup. This is what the right wants. This is why the 2nd Amendment is sacred to them. They need to have their personal militia at their disposal when minorities take to the streets in protest. It's fucking gross.

Here's a pic of the guy without a mask on:
