Right? He's a .265 career hitter!

I guess there is history between the Astros and Dodgers? Something about 2017.

That incident was way overhyped last night. The first minute of NBA basketball will be more dangerous than that.

I think with Kelly you give him credit for sticking his tongue out then getting it back in his mouth without biting a piece off.

I would think a member of the 2018 world champions who also cheated would probably be smart enough to shut the fuck up. Instead, he threw at Bregman and ran away like the little fucka he is.

An observation: the fake crowd noise works in soccer broadcasts because it’s good background noise and the games are really like that. In baseball, it just sounds like someone is running a vacuum during the game.

I hate going all Team Giff here but that Kelly suspension is fine and it’s lucky that’s all we’re talking about. 100 just behind the guy’s head in a R vs R matchup is a fucking kill pitch.

Booth did a good job of calling for the 4th or 5th replay to show if both of his feet were moving on contact. Wild swing.

Soon I think. When NBA and NHL prove they can make it work in a bubble, MLB will be really embarrassed.

NFL better rethink its plan.

MLB players barely get near players on the opposite side. Just imagine some OL with COVID on an NFL team. He could give it to most of an entire defense and most of his teammates just during a game.

Yeah kinda makes you wonder when you see those pics of the vapor coming out the linemen facemasks in cold weather games. Great photos but Rona clouds for sure.

Bettman's been pretty decent the last 10 years or so. If not for Adam Silver seeming to mostly have it on the ball, could make an argument he's the best commissioner of the Big Four, which is scary.

Manfred: "We're extremely disappointed some members of the players association chose to engage in high risk behavior such as interstate travel, frequent use of transit centers and the sharing of airflow-restricted indoor spaces with upwards of 30 other coworkers and support staff."

Bettman will never live down the three (or more?) work stoppages on his watch.

ETA - nor should he

Your original point does have merit though. They did a great job on the restart.
