This thread is scary and I'll explain why very simply -- if he doesn't make himself emperor for life, regardless of whatever crimes he may have committed in office, he's probably going away for tax fraud/avoidance for the rest of his life. This isn't anything like Nixon and it's going to be hard to justify pardoning someone who has cheated the federal government of the United States out of hundreds of millions in taxes. Again, this business stuff has literally zero to do with his time in office. Maybe the way for an incoming Biden administration to "split the baby" is to pardon him for crimes he committed acting as president and pursue him vigorously for Trump Organization tax fraud/money laundering.

Right, and its not like there's a such thing as worldwide pardons. I'm sure there are a dozen places he could be indicted if he's anything but sitting president. Only positive here is he doesn't give a shit about his kids so that won't be an additional factor in his decision-making process.

I can name 50 states that can indict him with no protection from a pardon.

Yeah, but Trump will probably insist on pardons from at least New York and Florida as part of any deal to leave the White House early. And he'll insist that Ivanka be pardoned also.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Just to follow up on this, this is not a one off thing. My wife works as a consultant to the Feds and this is an across the board edict. They are having to cancel some seminars and scramble to address some ongoing issues at a certain agency that is very much in the middle of addressing COVID.

Yup, they have cancelled it for the military too.

Kinda puts us in a pickle because there's a real diversity issue within the Air Force.

It doesn't mean that commanders at all levels cannot do the training from their level down, though. So we're still going forward with it.

The Air Force is the first service to have a Chief of Staff that is African American. He also happened to be in Times 100 Most Influential People list this year.

And not to mention, the Air Force also promoted the first female to hold the highest enlisted rank, Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, as well. And she's Asian American at that.

I'm glad I'm in an organization that's stronger than the America Stephen Miller desires.

Yeah, it's ridiculous to think the Clintons have the power to kill Epstein when Trump is in charge of the Bureau of Prisons. I was referring to the other 50 Clinton assassinations.

I have to think that if the Clintons were such evil vicious masterminds as the right claimed back in the 1990s, they'd have found a way to win in 2016.

So is Amy Coney Barrett the super spreader? I heard it mentioned on CNN tonight that Barrett had Covid this summer (I think it may have even been as recently as early August) so that is certainly an interesting connection. One has to wonder how much potential there is in someone spreading it post recovery. From my understanding people could carry a small viral load that may not trigger a positive result especially on rapid tests which then infects close contacts.

the only mention of the $40M that I've seen is the daily mail and it was that he was being investigated for stealing "up to" that or something. so I wouldn't put much stock in that at this point

It doesn't really seem out of character. And he DOES have a lot of money all of the sudden for someone who was basically insolvent before hitching his wagon to the Trump train in 2015.
