The Aqua Teen Hunger Force album MF Doom did with Danger Mouse is actually pretty awesome even if you’re not a ATHF fan.

I’ll check that out. I am an ATHF fan.

Yea, he wasn't mainstream by any means, but he was really, really good.

A few months ago, I got the assignment of adding to our software that is installed on our instruments to remove Adobe Flash when doing a software upgrade.
I spent a bunch of time figuring out how to write a power shell script to do it...and have that be part of our install process. And then a day after I submitted my code review, one of my upper management sent me a link to a story about how Microsoft had just released a patch to windows to do exactly what I was doing.

I was just going to post this. During the late 60s and very early 70s, he was the only good thing about the Broncos. He also had a very good reputation in the Denver community.

Re: Worthy of mention, too obscure for own thread
Paul Westphal was drafted by the Celtics in ‘72, yet traded three seasons later to Phoenix along with ‘75 and ‘76 2nd round picks for Charlie Scott. Scott was the Celtics’ shooting guard for a couple seasons, shooting a respectable 17-18 ppg, before being traded mid-season to the Lakers in ‘78 for Don Chaney and Kermit Washington. Westphal didn’t get many minutes for the Celtics (they were a very good/great team during his time there), but once he got minutes in Phoenix, he became one of the best players in the NBA, including being named to 1st of 2nd team All-NBA shortly after for a run of five years.
The Celtics hit (relative) rock bottom in ‘78 when they slid to 32-50, which qualified them to draft 6th in that draft, and they used that pick to draft and stash Larry Bird.
Curious if they entrusted Westphal to form a dynamic 1-2 punch with Jo Jo White instead of Charlie Scott...if they would’ve cratered to 32-50 and been in a position to draft Bird. Then again, maybe Bird would’ve fallen to the 10th or 12th pick anyway? I forget. I was 7 at the time.

It’s an old enough technology and there’s been enough warning that any decent website replaced it awhile ago but some older websites may not work anymore.

Any cool-looking (by contemporary standards) web animation you saw in the early 2000's was probably made with it.

I haven't used a browser that easily played Flash in long while. The only time I ever ran into issues was trying to use some airlines' shitty video players.

Me too, it was the WORST! Funny reading the negative comments in the article, because that had to be the least offensive show imaginable. He was rude and condescending? Did they make new episodes where they gave him a personality? It was just bland as fuck. And 10 years later, I still have his shopping list stuck in my head because he memorized by singing the list repeatedly.
OMG, Jake Tapper was all over 10 years ago (except he put the first half of the list at the end)
