As Steve pointed out, you can't just mass arrest people when they are overwhelmed by numbers.

I wonder if Hawley, Cruz and the rest are regretting their rhetoric over the past few weeks or if they are loving this because it brings them more attention. Cruz 100% knows how wrong his position is from a legal standpoint, and it goes against everything he fought for and claimed to believe his entire career. Fuck him, I hope this destroys his career.
Been watching CNN, and it was really interesting as they had a couple Republican Congressmen saying what we are saying now. One was introduced as a pro-Trumper, and he didn't deny it, but angrily said this needs to stop, it's heinous, and demanding Trump step in and call off the hordes and admit he lost.
