Well if they mean a federal response to people pissed off over the things the Bureau of Land Management does, then I agree.

guys honest question.. Is there are chance Biden can get sworn in tonight?

They really need to look at the whole Jan 20th thing, why would they let a loser stay in Office for 2+ extra months.

I don’t think this is what the 25th was made for. This is what impeachment and removal are made for.

Can articles of impeachment be drawn up for the enablers like Cruz and Hawley, or can they just be straight up arrested?

In the age of nuclear weapons, I think a madman with the launch codes is one of the scenarios they considered when coming up with the 25th precisely because it is expedient.

It’s certainly not what the 25th was made for. On the other hand, it’s not a huge stretch to say that Trump is psychologically “unable” to execute his duties, partly because he’s always been that way but also partly because of the stress of losing the election.

Especially since the 25th contemplates temporary removal, and in theory he can get better sometime. And if his term expires before that happens, so be it.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Pence, the acting SecDef, and CJCS with members of Congress had to make the call. They effectively went around Trump.

Which, in my mind, the 25th has softly been invoked. Ilhan Omar tweeted she was drawing up impeachment paperwork earlier today.

Also, the dead woman has been identified:

14 year USAF vet. 4 deployments. Probably Intel. And batshit crazy. The right is considering her a martyr.

And BOLO for photos and video of her dying. FYI.

The majority of the terrorists I saw inside the Capitol didn’t have masks, so at least a good number of them will catch COVID and die gasping for air.
