That was such a massive turnaround.

Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
The Colts made the right call going for it on 4th and goal from the 4ish, but those two sideline receptions by that Davis guy to get Buffalo down the field were top notch.
And of course the CBS halftime crew all say they would’ve kicked the FG.

Ahem. Ken Anderson still not in. An NFL MVP and to one SB in his long and very good career. But ,sure, Rivers goes in. Whatevs.
Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
Thank you to the Colts for running the Giants’ offense so it can feel like they were in the playoffs.

You guys think Matt Ryan is a Hall of Famer (not you, bengal, but I had to include your post for its valuable context, although Anderson's HOF Monitor score is 83.49)?

Ken Anderson needs to get Coors Light on the case
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.

This game ends this way and that slo mo replay of the ball after that fumble is going to haunt colts fans for a long time.

Gonna be game over man. Great job taking that TO by Buffalo.

Darnell Mooney and Roquan Smith are out for the Bears tomorrow. I rescind my "Cairo Santos blowing a big field goal costing them the game" comments from earlier in this thread. Commence with the blowout.

What is Rivers doing? Just keep throwing it out of bounds.

Well, the Saints better win tomorrow for Drew Brees sake. Still a top 10 QB ever, but pretty damaging legacy wise if your last three playoff losses are to Jared Goff, Kirk Cousins and Mitch Trubisky, the murderers row of mediocrityDSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:22 pm Darnell Mooney and Roquan Smith are out for the Bears tomorrow. Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
Yes, Anderson should be in. Consider the era he played in, that he was the first QB to run the WC0, and a million other factors. It's horseshit he isn't in and contemporaries like Fouts and Stabler are. Just horseshit. Only Bengal in HoF is Munoz. Ken Andreson, Isaac Curtis, Ken Riley (65 career INTs, 4th all-time - not in), Willie Anderson all should be in.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:51 pmDSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:47 pmIf it's not, it should be. Between their defense and Kamara in the passing game, I don't think there will be any problems.degenerasian wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:25 pmWell, the Saints better win tomorrow for Drew Brees sake. That was more tense than it should have been.
And I'd take McNabb over Rivers.

Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
I don't disagree with Anderson in the HOF at all. I wanted to show Ryan in comparison to Rivers and your mention of Anderson's accomplishments fit in nicely, as they both have an MVP and Super Bowl appearance.tennbengal wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:30 pmYes, Anderson should be in. You can say Anderson was the best player in football in 1981. With the evolution of the game, you can (probably) say Ryan was the best QB in 2016. Rivers is listed as Pro Football Focus' 1st team All-Pro in 2009 and 2nd team in 2013, but Manning was named All-Pro (among additional awards) in both those seasons. He's maybe been a top-5 QB for four or five seasons in his career.

Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
I know it’s got to be tough for both the Rams and the Seahawks adjusting the fly for the Rams’ QB change but has anyone thought of poor Joe and Troy who are having a really difficult time getting their narrative straight this game.

Ah, cool. I am so used to the Bengals getting shit on in the HoF process that I get prematurely defensive.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:38 pmI don't disagree with Anderson in the HOF at all. Also, Carlos Dunlap is in this game at 0-5 career in the playoffs, so, good luck Seattle...

Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
How dare you shame me because I'm from a different country than you!
From a Government of Canada website:
In Canada, the preferred spelling is defence and not defense.
The Minister of National Defence is responsible for the Canadian Forces.
It would be hard to imagine anyone better on defence than Bobby Orr.
Defensive, however, is always spelled with an s.
Managers use various defensive strategies to ward off company takeovers.

Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
Why is Seattle’s most important play of the game so far a run right at Aaron Donald? Why is Seattle anything? None of this makes sense.
Re: WILDCARD WANKFEST
This is like if you made an entire half out of the Malcolm Butler play.

Carlos Dunlap now 0-6 in the playoffs.

Can you challenge the use of the chains? Looked like some air there between the front of the ball and the chain.

You could not create a more boring booth than tirico/dungy.
My gall is sufficiently mitigated. Thank you for your concern.

It's actually a lot easier to appreciate Brady's goodness in a less-douchey uniform.
You guys may have mentioned that to me once or twice in the last 17 years.

I doubt that Taylor Heinicke's mother loves him as much as Tony Dungy does.

Was this guy Heinicki working with the GeekSquad over the holidays? I could've sworn I saw the guy trying to upsell Ooma handsets to an older guy who may or may not have been in a Progressive commercial.
