You've probably all seen it by now, but...
“All I'm sayin' is, he comes near me, I'll put him in the wall.”

He’s an idiot for having guns in his car, but that sounds like he was sent out to test effectiveness of the fake credentials.

Seems like it was a unauthorized credential, not fake..
I hope the SS, police, and those Searching and scanning are on their game this week.. I really hope they move this to an unannounced area and have a few people there.

Or not have an inauguration. I know it sucks but at these times the President could be sworn in anywhere.

I think there is likey value in Biden not hiding for inauguration.degenerasian wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 8:35 pm Or not have an inauguration. I know it sucks but at these times the President could be sworn in anywhere.
You know what you need? A lyrical sucker punch to the face.
Re: The WH Transition Thread --- all things Trump to Biden until Inauguration
Some Trump fans think Pelosi was arrested and their is a double of her that is a agent going to arrest Biden at the inauguration.
And some think Trump and Biden will have operation and change faces and Trump will stay in Power but with Biden’s appearance.

Trump may have ended Pardons.

Just an incredible record. I look forward to digging in more when it’s a little less immediate.

Johnnie...just...wow. What would "vetting" look like in this context? The guard have to give over all their social media accounts for scrutiny?

Re: The WH Transition Thread --- all things Trump to Biden until Inauguration
Fucking wut.
Dude, I have no idea.
I can't even fathom that right now.
EDIT
Unless this is typical taken-to-the-extreme paranoia that the military does on a day-to-day basis.
Example: when I got to NM it was several months before my security clearance was set to need review. I logged into do all of my questioning and there was a question regarding whether or not I had received disciplinary paperwork at a prior base. I was honest and said yes. I completed the questions and thought nothing else of it.
A couple months later I was called by the investigator and told I needed to be interviewed to make sure that I didn't harbor any feelings from the people I received paperwork from. My interview was one-on-one with this investigator. I had to detail my interactions, my feelings, the context, everything. Eventually it was written up as routine and I was cleared to maintain my clearance.
That being said, I wonder what kind of intel would have to exist to mandate 25,000 people be vetted 48 hours before the inauguration. Could be as simple as "Wow, we just took more people than we have deployed to the middle east, put them in DC, gave them weapons, and told them to show force before during a presidential inauguration....ummm, maybe we should check them?" If it's anything more concerning, then I'm stumped.

Was Delaware advised of the decision before the official announcement?

I mean, they’re already (continually) scanning the social profiles of people who have security clearances, right? And to do that, they’re using software to flag profiles for further review. 25,000 wouldn’t take long.Johnnie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 11:14 pm Fucking wut.

Having said that, it would make sense to arrest/detain people for spreading misinformation from now until after the inauguration.

Re: The WH Transition Thread --- all things Trump to Biden until Inauguration
So DT is said to pardon 100 people on his last day.. How much chance there for all those arrested at the capitol?
Re: The WH Transition Thread --- all things Trump to Biden until Inauguration
Nope it is going to be people who had people paid for access.
business insider wrote:While the identities of the 100 are not known, some of the president's allies are said to believe that many of the pardons or commutations will go to people Trump expects to benefit from in the future.
"Everything is a transaction," a source told CNN. "He likes pardons because it is unilateral. And he likes doing favors for people he thinks will owe him."
Though the identities of the 100 people are still unknown, CNN reported that Dr. Salomon Melgen, an eye doctor from Florida who is in prison after being found guilty of healthcare fraud, was expected to be one of those granted clemency.
Bloomberg reported last week that the rappers Lil Wayne — who faces prison time — and Kodak Black — who is in prison — were also being considered for pardons.

This is one of the important things I’ll be legit impressed with Biden doing versus rolling back things to 2016 levels.

Charles Sykes is saying Wyoming, Texas, and possibly a few other states like Montana, Idaho are going to secede from the U.S.
Re: The WH Transition Thread --- all things Trump to Biden until Inauguration
Good. They can fuck off. Idaho and Wyoming wouldn’t exist without federal funding. They’ll be selling the Paloose as a garbage dump to raise money

And exactly what happens to the military bases in those states?
All those states have bases with nukes and fighters. Texas alone has 6 active duty bases, to include the "Gateway to the Air Force" base in Lackland where basic training is conducted.
This sounds like idiot fan fiction.

Brian, Wyoming is one of the richest states in the union. Individual income tax doesn’t put much in because of low population, but mining industry in WY is huge and much more than offsets.

Wyoming is an exception to the rule that red states are generally "takers", not "makers".
That said, they still might find it a lot tougher sledding in a "country" of 750,000-ish people without federal management of a state that is mostly BLM land, etc., etc.
