And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

I think the scrolling kinda reinforces the point. (If it were displayed horizontally I would feel differently.)

Is the solid black line to scale? Legitimately curious. I've never been a global warming denyer but didn't realize it was so immediately apparent either.

Yes, I think it is, if they're basing it off the Instrumental Temperature Record.
