Speaking of problematic, Richard Dawson would have been cancelled at least twice by now, right?

He worked on his gun handling. So good in something like T2.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 8:47 pm Ah, the "hold the machine gun out at arm's length and kill someone" shot, a trademark of Schwarzenegger.

It really was a stroke of genius to cast a real game show host. They blew a chance to do a remake with Alex Trebek.

Was getting the building from Robocop vibes (which if it was real you would know what it was)

We were debating that. My wife mentioned one of the buildings near the Sony lot for the base and a matte painting above the "pyramid". The top half did look like Nakatomi (she worked there for a few years).

I suppose I need to cop to having a huge crush on Maria Conchita Alonso. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Crushing on a Latina seemed practically scandalous to my white bread ass though.

The Hate Boat as an ICS show is funnier now than when the show was still on (as it was in 1987).

We need to talk about how a shockingly good acting job Dawson does in this movie by the way.

Just remembered that Arnold's love interest in Total Recall was also Latina and then remembered he cheated on his wife with the Latina maid and it all kind of makes sense.

This intro could have absolutely been shaved down by a couple minutes. PM Glaser had to be nailing one of these women.
