And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

I have a big ass music collection. One of my pandemic things was to dig deep into it. I ran a BPM analyzer and run random playlists based on BPM.
Margot & The Nuclear So & So's into Seal Fisting National Anthem of the World is fantastic.
Don't know if Degen was here when that dropped, but that has to have a fast-forward to the final four of the anthem tourney.

Re: Random Thoughts About Thoughts Random
There should be a term for the mental hierarchy a sports fan has where if they’re told their team scored, how they’d rank the players who they hope scored, but beyond “favorites”. Kreider is my favorite Ranger but if you tell me the Rangers scored, I want it to be Kaapo more than anyone.

Glad you didn’t have to struggle too much with that this evening.

This is random and yet, very topical if you're a Swamply Connect/Wandavision fan (who isn't)
Matt Shakman, the director of Wandavision, was a child actor whose biggest role was probably the son on Growing Pains spinoff Just the Ten of Us (bottom right)
He is married to someone named Maggie Malone, which was the mom's name on Growing Pains.

Regarding this colonoscopy talk, I notice that Humana Healthcare is running an ad during the basketball tournament patting themselves on the back for sending out little colon health screening kits to their patients. Of course they don’t mention that their only real motivation is to save themselves money by directing patients to the little kit screening instead of the more costly colonoscopies.

Re: Random Thoughts About Thoughts Random
Being deployed to a base without infrastructure for 7 months really made me realize how much I take plumbing for granted.
I wasn't even allowed to flush toilet paper because even that is too much for field bathrooms.
(Sidenote: I also learned far too late that you should not dispose of used oil in your sink after cooking. You should jar it up and throw it away.)

Protect your pipes, only flush the 3 Ps... (you guys try and figure it out)
But, yeah we do a ton of public education about not pouring grease down your pipes. If it's not your home service lines, it'll be somewhere down the line (literally).

I use a can that I keep in the freezer (freezing it makes it unlikely to spill). When it gets full, wrap it up in a plastic grocery bag, and throw it in the trash.
Re: Random Thoughts About Thoughts Random
Does that include oil from canned goods?
