Gotta give UVA credit. They don’t waste their wins in March.

I get what you're saying, but Turgeon had a game plan to neutralize Bouknight, and boy did they do a job on him. I mean, I get that Connecticut is basically a tad better than .500 without Bouk, but with him they were supposed to make some waves in this tourney.

Hurley has me scratching my head a bit. That UConn team tonight allowed at least 4 or 5 backdoor passes to open guys streaking to the basket for easy baskets. The types of plays Calhoun would've immediately called timeout and barked the player's (who missed his assignment) head off.

Hurley has no problem taking it out on the officials when warranted, but he seems to coddle his players too much. As for Bouknight? Yeah, he'll have a decent NBA career. But unless he develops into an NBA body-type, he'll be doing it off the bench.

Man, UVA picked the wrong night (again) to have one of their worst shooting games of the year. They had open threes all game, but just kept missing them. And Ohio hit some big shots at just the right times for them. That shot-clock-beating three really was a back-breaker. My throat is still sore from the loud FUCK!!! I let out after that one.

Illinois was the team that scared me (from a Gonzaga point of view). I had visions of Cockburn just abusing Timme in the post in the Final.

So much for that

It drives me nuts that that woman is insanely hot IRL and ATT makes her look as dowdy and lame as possible.
She's also gotten a ton of online harassment, so it's very possible that she said she would only continue doing the commercials as long as she felt she wasn't being objectified.

Hmmm. Good for her. Sucks that people make comments where she can see them. (I admit that might be hypocritical but I don’t think she reads the Swamp so there’s pretty clearly a distinction.)

(Also, on brand for the Big Ten collapse by Rutgers just now.)

That finish to ORU/FL and the Houston/Rutgers games were very exciting. 1st minutes of basketball I have watched all year, and it was damn good.

Oh, I agree on the distinction. Commenting on a pretty small message board that someone is hot is degrees different that going on her (or AT&T's) Twitter feed and talking about what you would do to her sexually. Years ago when the first set of ads came out, I remember looking for more of her acting creds and found "Let's Talk About Something More Interesting" on YouTube, which was her online talk show with a cohost, which I enjoyed (not hilarious, but funny nonetheless). I feel like that's what a normal person would do, but we all know the world (and especially Twitter) is not rife with normal people.
How do you all get your death notices since I left?

So is Cade Cunningham still the top prospect? I have heard his name, but this is the first I watched him. Looked pretty good, but his shot was off all night. Anyone a clear number 1 in the draft?

No idea, really. Except to add that another potential lottery pick, #12-ish James Bouknight looked like freakin garbage against Maryland. And also against Creighton in the Big East Semis. Oh, and he cramped up so badly in a 34 point blowout of DePaul that he needed to be carried to the locker room.

He doesn’t have the body for the NBA. Always seems to finish plays splayed out on the floor. He will fill out in time though...And obviously it’s sensible to grab it now, but leaving school as a SO versus as a JR will likely cost him millions.
