2021 Masters (the Golf One)

Post by wlu_lax6 »

So I was not selected for this year but will get tickets next year. However, I once again will have access to the Masters online shop. So if you need some gear, let me know.

The 2021 Masters

Post by Jerloma »

I've been watching Masters Films on Sky Golf which are just produced recaps of each Masters. If you don't recall who won though, it's exciting as hell. Do you guys realize that in 91, Tom Watson missed slam dunking a bunker shot on the 18th hole to win? I didn't think he won that late, but holy shit it was riveting. Also, it's funny how cavalier they were about Woosnam being small.

"How will the little Welshman handle the pressure?"

"A great look for the little man from Wales."
And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. - God

Wouldn't surprise me to hear them say similar things about Brian Harman this week.

Let's do this. If anyone wants to do it for $5 bucks I'd be down. And you can play without money, but you have to state your intentions prior to the tournament starting to be in the money pool.

I can provide my paypal info for those so inclined.

Alternately, I don't care if you venmo me then I send it out* or if you just pay the winner directly after the tournament.

A co worker came back from some island vacation a few years ago and was excited to tell me he met Adam Scott. I was excited too but I thought it was the golfer and not the actor( this was probably just before he joined parks and Rec). Anyway we had a laugh.

I made a homemade pulled pork and pimento cheese sandwich a couple of months ago, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. So YMMV.

Pimento has a very high care to quality correlation. The bad stuff is awful and the good stuff is tremendous.

Are you a No Mayo Boy or is it just the texture?

It has to be the texture...I love mayo. I admittedly haven't tried it in somewhat close to 40 years, but I still have a visceral reaction when I think of it.

Oh man, you have to get back in. First time I had it was at a corporate cafeteria in New Orleans and I was like "this is gross, you guys are insane". Then I had it at a restaurant and it was just a polar opposite experience.

The last time I had it was on a burger on HHI and it was great though absolutely decadent and belly-busting (the reporter eventually went burger, too, which was a good call).

Stirling Hotel does it on a burger too but most of the time I'll flip that to chicken to save the afternoon.

(And hold the bacon or give it to a kid because bacon doesn't improve a good sandwich!)

in the morning ... but if the rain knocks out a chunk of Saturday afternoon, then yeah, it would be unlikely you could get it all done on Sunday

You should try making your own...it's pretty easy and you can control the texture.
I would like expensive whiskey.
We only have beer & wine...
