These block/charge calls are somehow wrong almost every single time.

Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
That was sick. Steve Kerr called it 30 feet. Should get 4 points for that shit.

Two threes in a row to cap an 11-0 run for the Eagles. Up 15-4.DSafetyGuy wrote:FGCU is running and gunning early tonight.

And thanks for playing!
Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
Damn, Michigan State is playing like a bunch of knuckleheads late in this game. Down 9 and fouling with 2 seconds left on the shot clock?

Playing these games in big-ass domes is a bad idea. The space sucks away a lot of crowd energy.

Those fun kids who play the Right Way may not get to fifty in this game.
Totally Kafkaesque

Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
Why was Marv Albert so particular about the fact that they weren't within the Dallas city limits? Does someone have a warrant out on him?
Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
I lost only two bets in the Sweet 16, both by one half point (tOSU -3.5 and Florida -12.5). Oh well. Still a good weekend so far.

Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
I have nothing against fgcu. I loved what they were doing. I just got tired of "analysts" going on and on about how they play basketball the right way and everyone should play that way. It's like watching a football game where one team hits a lot of bombs and saying that all teams should play that way all the time, because it's so much fun and they are winning.brian wrote:Damn, the Haterade is strong with you. Obizzle at the game. I guess, er, hope that means that Korea isn't about to blow up.

Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
Any guesses as to why Ohio State stopped playing the pressing defense that got it from 20 points down to 4?

I think the four best teams remaining are all playing tomorrow.

Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
If Florida beats Louisville on April 8th, I will win both of the pools I entered.
One is a fundraiser for a friends daughters aau team. Almost 1,000 entrants and I am top 10 and only one with the Gators.
I agree rerun, four best teams remaining are battling tomorrow. Should be fun. Go Lou and the Gators.

Man, this reminds me of what Michigan did to UVA in the regional finals in 89.

logistics my ass, huh?
Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
Man, oh, man. There's more permitted traveling in this Duke/Louisville tilt than you'd see at an NBA All-Star game.

For the love of god, please NEVER show that replay again.
Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
Cannot watch that again.
Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Sweet 16
Don't look at that replay, fellas. Clean breaks; looks much worse than it is. He'll be ok.

Doctor: How does a leg break just by landing on it, didn't seem like there was much force.howard wrote:For you guys too young for Joe Theismann, same injury.
Theismann had LT pulling him down.
Reminds me of watching a raptors game a few years back and Garbahosa landed on someone else leg, but that was an ankle dislocation.

According to reporters there (posting on twitter), guys on the Louisville bench vomited at the sight of the injury.howard wrote:Don't look at that replay, fellas. Clean breaks; looks much worse than it is. He'll be ok.
