NFL Week 2

I think it makes sense - I'm just using manual inputs until week 4. The column on the left ("Based on Line") is just looking for lines that I would consider to be a bit off...Weak means that they are basically where I'd have them, medium is a slight disagreement and strong means I think they are well off. Things like "why the f is Jacksonville getting points on the road against anybody" apply here. The projection is just my half-ass Warren Sharp impression.

Agreement is where I like one team using both methods.

Obviously the challenge here is to adjust but not overadjust. No teams get huge adjustments either way - ie AZ went up a bit but they aren't anywhere near the top team in my sheetz.

Should be New Orleans 24, Carolina 20. NOLA gets an extra road game hit because of all that they've dealt with.

Guess there was an inherent danger to poking around on Twitter to figure out exactly what Rex was referring to. Ugh.

a lot of super awful lower leg injuries on that field in the last little bit. Burrow week 11 last year. Dobbins pre-season. The G tonight. Maybe coincidence. Maybe something with that field causing an issue?

How did they review that spot for a whole 20 seconds and decide that the terrible call on the field was correct? I mean, he got a first down on the next play, but that was just so egregiously wrong.

They also missed a spot on a Daniel Jones run by 2 yards, and Joe Judge decided to call a straight up time out instead of throwing the challenge flag. I don’t know what’s happening to the sport I once loved.

Maybe the refs just felt bad for the giants die to the d-line getting less pressure on the qb than Kramer’s low-flow shower head for that whole 2 minute drill?

We kind of glossed over just how dumb it was that Washington brought in Fitzpatrick this year. You liked Heinecke enough to extend him after that playoff game last year and you didn't even want to give him a shot this year?

Just an “innocent” question or clarification here … the NFL’s taunting rule has nothing to do with the players or on field events and everything to do with the 10,000 people who would jump on social media to post about “that (slur) CB”, right?

I don't think that's right. Effin' Mara from the Giants line of Maras super into getting it out of the game. Seriously.

I feel like Rich Kotite did something similar, declining a penalty to punt, back with Philly.

I am surprised by how bad Zach Wilson has looked. I am not surprised by how not good Trevor Lawrence has looked.

Jalen Hurts being good now is blowing my mind though. Tyrod Taylor will probably forever be the most perplexing college-to-NFL improvement to me (even moreso than Herbert) but Hurts ain't too far behind.

See, this was the game I was watching at a BBQ yesterday, so a lot of crosstalk and the volume was down. I was SOOO confused about what was happening that I thought the graphics were fucked up and somehow that call was on the Texans.

What the actual fuck??

I was watching in a bar and I could not wrap my head around the decision in any way. My wife will attest that I was very confused to the point she had to tell me to let it go. AND IT HELPED MY TEAM!

I kind of like the Manning brothers’ broadcast on espn2. As you would guess, they are very attuned to the QB play.
