“Hey Mitch. Fort Campbell in Kentucky? Really nice base you got there. Probably supports a lotta Kentucky businesses. It’s be a shame… if something happened to its funding.”
There. Problem solved.

“Oh, one more thing, Mitch. Secretary Buttigieg told me he was going through the books at his Department, and saw some ‘irregularities’, his word, not mine, in the staffing numbers salaries in 2017 through 2020. He suggested to me I approve an internal audit, because, as the GOP likes to put forward, accountability on government is paramount. You’d think that’s a good idea, right Mitch?”

I have 0.00% faith that Sinema would vote to remove the filibuster to fund the government when not removing the filibuster to fund the government would ensure her so much more attention.

Yeah. There seems to be some rhyme or reason behind Manchin's general assholery. He has some weird, long-outdated view about what "moderate" means, and he's committed to being that, even if it's stupid.
But Sinema makes no sense at all.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.
No matter what he did, the Republicans would find a way to criticize. That's obvious.
But seriously all of the "liberal media" is taking shots at him segment after segment.
It was always going to end like this no matter how meticulous the plan. I personally wish it were cleaner, but pulling out of Afghanistan should be front and center here and yet, the media isn't discussing that.
It's just "how much $$$ can we make from this disaster porn?"

Yep, my Trump loving friends on FB who disappeared for a year are suddenly roaring back to life at the complete failure of Biden's administration, calling for impeachment. Somehow they aren't responding to people posting video of Trump saying, just a month ago, that he orchestrated the withdrawal from Afghanistan in a way that Biden can't undo it. Supposedly that was on Trump's website yesterday and suddenly disappeared.

While I love Kinzinger having the balls to call out the GOP bullshit, I can't fathom how he remains a Congressman within the Party. Does he think he has a stronger message fighting them from within the Party? To me, it shows that you completely understand and agree your Party is deplorable, but not deplorable to leave.

It's comically sad that this dumb fuck had to wait eight months to have anything even remotely controversial enough to come in here with his "gotchas" and even this is gonna be something that no one remembers or gives a fuck about in a month.

Kind of like a supporter of Hitler making fun of Adenauer's taxation policies.

I realize we're not talking about people who typically act in good faith, but I honestly don't understand how many try to argue the "Biden has dementia" nonsense.

How many hours of footage of Biden speaking are out there? If you had that much footage of anyone speaking, I guarantee you could cherry pick 10 second clips and make anyone seem like maybe their mental faculties are impaired. I've seen lots of clips that out of context I could understand people thinking he has dementia. Then you watch a long interview and he seems fine. What cracks me up is the same people didn't have a problem with Trump's rambling word salads where he couldn't complete a thought, slurred speech, etc... Not to mention all the times Biden stops speaking to avoid a stutter. He has been a bit of a loose cannon with speaking gaffes, and I think if anything, he has improved in that manner.

My job title is Communications Specialist, and i can rarely make it through a zoom or a phone call without fucking something up. Granted, I'm not terribly good at my job.
My gall is sufficiently mitigated. Thank you for your concern.
The two sources say they were in direct and regular contact with Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Mo Brooks of Alabama, Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, Louie Gohmert of Texas, and Lauren Boebert of Colorado—fierce Trump allies who have since the January 6 riots downplayed their violence while complaining about the treatment of those who’ve been arrested for committing crimes that day. The sources also say former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, a former House Freedom Caucus member, was deeply involved as well.
