I also want to know why the landscaping place agreed to the press conference. And the guy is right, their humor helped them escape a potential nightmare of backlash.

1000 percent some dumb, incompetent Trump minion thought they were calling the hotel. There's no other explanation. Possibly one of the funniest things to happen in politics in the last 20 years or so.

I think the best part is that either the Four Seasons Landscaping guy is one hell of a salesman just to keep them on the line long enough to commit or once Giulani's goons realized it was the wrong place they doubled down. Both are amazing.

McAulffie whole campaign was nothing but talking about Trump.. Dems better clear up their message or they are set for total disaster in 2022 and probably 2024.

Trump has been gone for 10 months, it's time to move on.

Dems look to lose total control of the Virginia House also

Jesus Christ was that scary. As a candidate, Murphy sucks. I've met him twice and my wife had a semi-weekly roundtable with him, and while I like him and believe he has a good heart and will fight for the right causes, the dude ain't right in the head. Like seriously weird to be around. His opponent was supposedly a rational, intelligent moderate Republican until he decided to go full-Trumpian during the campaign. He wanted to dial back all COVID restrictions and kissed Trump's ring. My taxes will suffer, but I'd rather pay higher taxes and serve a progressive agenda than still pay insanely high taxes for a corporatist shill GOP hack to reverse all progress.

I have to wonder how the polls were so far off. Murphy was up by 11 points and never trailed in a single poll. Speaking from personal POV, the last 4 years have completely tapped me out of political energy. It's like I was running on full tilt adrenaline for 5 years, and once Trump was gone, my system was drained. Like an MDMA hangover, where your body stops producing serotonin. I just couldn't get myself to care about any of the local races until all of a sudden, I go to bed with Ciatterelli in the lead.

I assume its mostly not recalibrating "likely voters" at this point given there are very few vocal Trump supporters willing to stay home. Even without anyone really being a "huge Phil Murphy guy", how different do the final results look if the additional 2MM people who voted in the 2020 election showed up or mailed in this week? It was probably never close in the sense that NJ was equally divided on the two candidates, its just the same inability of Dems to motivate anyone to show for them.

And don't get me started on any of this "progressives caused the losses" nonsense when the national story leading up to these elections was the Dems gutting their own 2020 election platform from the inside.

This goes towards my point that a lot of Dems are like me and tapped out, while Republicans are fired up over Dems stealing the Presidency. Also factor in the Party holding the Presidency tends to lose governors and Biden's popularity being in a nosedive.

The one thing that's clear is we need to take those universally popular policies that were run on in 2020 and do our best to help Republicans stomp them out. Only way to kill "wokeness".

That reminds me of the biggest problem the Dems have right now. They are passing wildly popular Bills in the House, and Republicans are killing the Bills in the Senate. Many of these ideas are popular with Republican voters (when not described as Dem Bills), but Dems suck at messaging, and Republicans are spinning the Dems as "do nothing" and ineffectual or "radical Communists", while the GOP are obstructing objectively beneficial and necessary infrastructure funding.

"Republicans want to take the vote away from black people."

"Republicans don't care about women."

"Republicans don't want you to go to college."

"Republicans don't care about your kids; that's why they are against parental leave."

"Republicans don't want to cut emissions because the oil industry funds their campaigns."

That's what I mean when I say put them on the defensive.

Why not? If there's a mechanism in place to get it, it's just a transaction. He's taking on the risks, not the people already obligated to pay him a certain amount. They just give him his .002 bitcoin and say good luck.

You'd have to overhaul the entire payroll mechanism. Who would control the wallet that pays him?
When we get paid, if we are salary, we get the same dollar amount every month. So Davis would have to get the same bitcoin each paycheck, not the US dollar equivalent in bitcoin each paycheck. Then any deductions for benefits or taxes would also have to be a static bitcoin amount agreed on.

He isn't going anywhere in Texas when he gets on stage and says he going to take your guns. Even this libtard rolled his eyes at that.

Instead, he should've encouraged more gun ownership from liberals because we'll have to protect ourselves from the crazies on the right who already have them when the time comes. Would've been awesome.

Instead, he virtue signaled and looked like a bitch doing it.
