Good punishment….to the USA. CRC and Panama get to play their road games in an empty building, USA will not.

I am still allowed to love Neck though, right? Opposing teams band played it while kicking the bejesus out of my kids HS. Pretty solid rendition.

Is Miles Robinson getting looks overseas? Seems like any young people on that list should be candidates for bigger paydays and certainly those that get starts.

But you have to do it for him, right? If im coach, not sure I care how good you look for someone elses team. How good do you look when you come to my camp and play in games im coaching and do the things im asking from you. Maybe a beef if hes not bringing guys into camp or isnt giving reps in friendlies or minor tournaments to see what they can do. But you still got to do it for me before I start rostering you for qualifiers.

that's the point. NO. That is NOT the case. There are far better players to choose from over that crew. Even in MLS alone. It's bullshit.

But he has to decide that based their play in his camp. How can you have a better concept of that than he does? Did guys that killed it in the summer tournaments or friendlies get dropped?

This feels like we're teetering on an appeal to authority given that we know all GMs/managers/coaches make playing time mistakes because of personal favorites and other biases.

The overall point, Citgo, is valid. I do understand where you're coming from. But it's incredibly frustrating for folks that follow this player pool closely that these guys have totally regressed to the mean and they are who they are. They are known quantities, as you are saying. But that quantity is total shit.

I will say, Zardes is the worst of that bunch, so I'm glad to not see his name in the mix. But if we roll out Roldan, Arriola and Acosta against Mexico, we're gonna get rolled.

N. Macedonia beat Armenia 5-0. They are behind Germany in the group but still ahead of Iceland. Have a shot at going to Qatar. That would be a crazy outcome.

Excited for the two Canada games in Edmonton. Not too bad tonight, -2C. Expected to be -13C for the Mexicans on Tuesday.
Expected 50K+ for both games, that place will be rocking.

Juvenile sure, but I enjoyed the MIB newsletter today's gimmick adding a 'G' for each Gregg reference (including the first one that was "the extra g is for good game"). I think the last one was GGGGGGGGG

Berhalter did not do the stupid things you said he would do, so the US will probably lose. Actually, I don’t have a feel for this game. Though that is because I don’t have a feel for where Mexico is right now. It seems like they should not be able to win a game on the road, in crappy weather, against a more talented midfield. But that’s why they play the games. Go Honduras.

Honduras were up 2-0 and Panama score 3 goals in 8 minutes. Honduras are done.
