There was a pay per view 100th birthday special planned for her, one of those things they show in theaters. Feel bad for the family behind me in line when I went to see spidey this week who wanted to know if the theater was selling tickets for it yet or not.

We watched a couple of episodes of Golden Girls this week. Hallmark channel started the week with season 1, episode 1, and there was a subplot in one of these early episodes where they were planning on raising and breeding minks and then harvesting them to sell their fur. There was a scene in a garage or something behind the house where Dorothy and Rose were getting the cages setup and Sophia was cutting up newspaper to use as bedding. Crazy?

When they couldn’t get minks to fuck, Blanche’s veterinarian boyfriend checked them out and discovered they were too old to breed. Nice how that worked out since the main plot had to do with Blanche starting to go through menopause.
