How much blame for those moves in Houston were BOB’s doing, and how much was it influenced by Wormtongue Easterby?

Wasn’t his one-sided Hopkins trade prompted by a personality conflict between the two of them?

This bar I’m at is owned by some Chiefs super fan and he’s blasting all these shitty Chiefs-themed songs. Is that a thing in other cities? There’s fucking dozens of them. There’s a specific anti-Denver song. It’s horrible. I went from at worst not caring about the Chiefs to borderline hating them in like an hour.

How has the KC defense stopped anybody this year? I should have known something was up when the Giants scored TWO offensive touchdowns against them

The Chiefs are making the Broncos’ offense look competent.
Fun fact: the Broncos are 7-9 despite entering this game ranked 3rd in the NFL in scoring defense.

They had a couple of solid games and the hype machine went into overdrive.

But Burrow's game wasn't a fluke.

they gave up 48 in a five-game stretch. that's a little more than a couple

they're not as good as that and they're not as bad as they were at the beginning of the season and last week. but the stretch they had during the eight-game win streak was way more than a couple of solid games

I'd be pissed if I were a Cowboys fan. I mean, it seems that nobody was injured really, but what the fuck was Zeke doing out there at the end of the 3rd and Dak in the 4th quarter, going for it on 4th down, of a game that was essentially meaningless? I don't wish injury on anyone, but I really wished one of the Eagles 2nd or 3rd stringers would've put Prescott on his ass even on a late hit just so McCarthy would've had to answer for that nonsense. Yes, I'm a Philly fan, but I don't give a shit that they lost. But why are the 'Boys out there celebrating team records in a glorified preseason game?

It was their Super Bowl. McCarthy is not a good coach. They will get run out next weekend by the Cards.

Don’t have lofty expectations for the Eagles either. But they played it right yesterday given there was nothing to play for. Rams and Saints win today and the Eagles head to Tampa. Tampa has their own issues right now, so perhaps there’s a punchers chance. But not likely.

This is the Packers conference to lose.

AFC is a whole other animal. Anybodies guess over there.

So if the Ravens win the Raiders are in. But then the Raiders will rest their starters and not get the Ravens in.

I'm watching Green Bay/Detroit. They keep cutting to Amon-Ra & Equanimeous St. Brown's parents because that's more relevant than the outcome of the game.

And all I can think is that Key and Peele need an update.

Philly has theirs, Miami’s, and Indy’s first round picks, and I wouldn’t have imagined before this season their the Eagles’ own pick would be the worst of the three.

That's just nuts. Some shit I'd pull off in a Madden franchise mode.

The other great thing about today is that the NFL Draft order gets finalized.

4th/1 at MIN 13 - Dalton sacked
4th/goal at MIN 1 - Dalton sacked
4th/1 at CHI 49 - Dalton pick-sixed

Fire Nagy and Pace.

dalton walking to the far sideline while peterson was running toward the near sideline during that return was quite the visual

I think most coaches in the league prefer their QBs not even try to get involved in efforts to make tackles. I think it briefly became a talking point earlier this season after a Stafford pick when he was dogging it after the pass.

I think Justin Fields getting planted for the ninth time by the Browns earlier this season would work, but I understand there is a significant amount of personal preference involved.
