Isn't the play over once the ref blows the whistle?

Anyone else hear the refs blow that play dead when they though Burrows threw from OOB?

The Raiders receivers are dropping a few too many balls so far this evening...

The NFL statement after the game should be interesting because they'll have you believe that every ref on the field, including the one who blew the whistle, and everyone in New York missed it on the review. Who in their right mind could believe that? I think they were trying to avoid embarrassment and were actually stupid enough to think that nobody would notice. Incidentally, nobody on the broadcast caught it either. Brees said he caught it after the fact which is remarkable because why wouldn't he mention it?

"Television network = league partner" is pretty much a catch-all as to why any network that shows NFL games is more like a propaganda arm of 345 Park Avenue than anything else.

The Pats are playing like dogshit. It's not my money, but Edelman losing $100K on a Brady-Belichick Super Bowl was broken brained. (Unless it was some random marketing thing.)

I mean, the Bills look good, but let's not pretend that this wouldn't be an epic beatdown at the hands of at least a half dozen other teams still playing football.

That defense is slow as hell. Beaten to the edges all game long.

Someone threw a dildo on the field after that TD by Bourne.

Classy.

I'm fully aware the Steelers are likely going to get similarly blasted tomorrow night but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying the shit out of this.

Well, unless Pittsburgh are able to find an offense to keep up with the Chiefs, the Bengals are going to Nashville to take on the Titans. That will be an interesting match-up, especially for the Titans defense...

Still wondering just how good Buffalo were and how bad the Pats were?

Pretty ugly but still positives. More of the same. Depth parts all over likely. Need a tackle. DB if they don't resign Jackson. Maybe someone will go find Jonnu smith. Somewhere theres a talented slot guy that someone ignores. Wonder if white can walk yet. Hip injuries always make me skeptical.
