Had to Google what that guy looked like. Pretty funny.

When I have a bit of facial hair and wear my military ball cap, I can be confused as a Trump guy too. It's weird.

Started to watch Bob Saget's That Ain't Right. I had seen his aristocrats version, and knew he wasn't Danny Tanner. But dang, so much of it was just him saying fuck and motherfuck and balls and cock and whatever without any real joke to go along with it. Pretty unimpressed and didn't bother finishing it, so if it got a lot better after the first 15 minutes or so, I wouldn't know it.

Yeah but some of that has to be time passing since Full House. Im sure he could get laughs on that alone because was so out of character for him. Kind of like that Wayne Brady skit on Chapelles Show. In and of itself, probably not that funny but coming from Wayne Brady a whole different deal.

Yeah. Probably. I don't recall him being funny either but I do remember a stark contrast between the character and the guy post full house.

Did my first 30 minute set the other day, and as a consequence had to try out a lot of new and untested jokes...im working on cutting the 30 back to its purest 20, so if any of you have time to listen and want to give me an opinion on which bits are hitting/missing for you here is a dropbox link. I also understand 30 minutes is an eternity and it wont hurt my feelings if yall dont have that kind of time

I was going to listen, but after the warnings in the intro, I was afraid I'd be offended and it wasn't for me.

I think your reps are showing, you sound more confident and in control of the audience. I really can't add much advice, but I like your mix of longer story-ish setups and a few one liners thrown in. I've heard the cupcake joke several times, and I gotta say, I still laugh out loud. I started to smile as soon as I heard it coming, and it's a great bit. I listened the day you posted and forgot to comment then, but you had a one-liner that reminded me of Jeselnik that I really liked. I can't remember the joke, but the punchline was unexpected, and I love that style of joke. One really minute suggestion, your Travis Scott joke, I'd change "it kills in Houston" to "it killed in Houston."

Keep posting, I enjoy hearing your sets and it's fun to hear you improve and evolve your material. I was starting to worry about you, for some reason your Facebook posts stopped showing up in my feed and you didn't post here for a long time. I searched you on FB and saw you are posting regularly. Either you changed a setting or FB is shadow banning you or my algorithm doesn't want me to laugh.

The algorithms for creatives on FB/Insta are set so they start restricting exposure once views and engagement starts going up. It's so they can start charging money for ads and post-boosting. It fucking sucks.

Thank you for taking the time. I hear Jeselnik bleed through in some of my bits, in my head when im doing the accidentally roofied myself bit its a cross between jeselnik and ron white on the delivery, i just wish you could remember which joke because im a huge fan of his and i love any comparison. This was the first 30 minute run through and i felt like i held serve adequately. Youre right about kills/killed but i think on the rewrite itll be "crushes"

There were several jokes that were similar in style, but I think it was the delivery of the punchline on the joke about your cousin having twins was the one that made me think of Jeselnik. Glad you took that as a compliment because it was, and Jeselnik is my current favorite comedian. I don't think you are patterning yourself after him, just a few dark, clever twists to jokes in a similar style. The diabetic friends, R Kelly jokes and even the Plan B were similar. The small penis joke reminded me of Steven Wright (Jeselnik's proclaimed biggest influence), despite the fact that I never heard him tell a joke close to dirty. When I was in high school, Steven Wright was my favorite and he was the main event of Parent's Weekend my freshman year. My parents took me, and it was amazing.

A few more notes... I loved the cop story, several good jokes in there, but I really loved how the story and a closing joke, then you slipped in the extra twist at the end. I also like how you use the technique of saying "I almost took it too far by saying..." as a way to get a second punchline out of the same setup.

Crushed is definitely the way to go on the Travis Scott joke. Congrats, man. Keep going. Proud to see your comedy career growing and your act improve.

The use of the word "porpoise" really cracked me up.

Listening to Jeselnik's podcast a week or two back, and he gave an update on the teacher from TT's jokes about the teacher serving cupcakes with her husband's cum to her students. Turns out they were into far weirder and worse stuff, and she is facing a 41 year prison sentence and her husband is on trial for over 150 crimes, mostly involving sex with minors and trafficking kiddie porn. Once again, surprisingly attractive, even in a prison jumpsuit.

I think the black guy was relieved he lost his turn on his last spin to save himself some embarrassment. Do contestants on Wheel see the letters previously chosen? Regardless, "h" and "t" were on the board. And what was the guy going for with "g"? Maybe a feather in your gap is a kink thing?

It's funny how it (at least in our market) it comes on tv right after Jeopardy. The game show for smart people, followed by the game show for morons.

I'd never heard of Taylor Tomlinson until my wife and I chose her as a compromise when watching Netflix the other night.

Her show is "Look At You," and while she isn't hilarious, she's pretty good. And the way she presents her mental issues (bi polarity) is really interesting and matter of fact.

I saw her first special (Netflix, I think) and liked it. Heard her on some Podcasts. She comes from a super- religious upbringing and I think she started on the Church circuit super young, like 16.

I've been following Tomlinson for a while now (she's been very involved in the Conan O'Brien universe). I think she's spectacular. New special, a few that didn't totally land but overall a good-great special IMO.
