Shane Warne, dead at 52, far too young...

For those outside of North America and Japan, he was the world's greatest ever pitcher in a sport (cricket) played by more people.

This is the guy, who redefined bowling and made spin cool. He also was a bad boy boy off the oval, with lots of personal issues. Shane Warne was able to transcend the sport of cricket.
