BFJ is the town wizard who runs a magic shop. He also has a golem that he has trained to attack anti-Semites.
Re: Bagels
I agree it’s a travesty but I don’t think it’s really that widespread. I’m not a local but I’m not far off and I’ve never heard of this.

Re: Bagels
Guys, I’m embarrassed to admit this, but growing up in small town Wyoming we didn’t have bagels. So I don’t know how it’s officially pronounced. The G controversy in GIF has me concerned I’ve been saying it wrong.
Is it:
Bay-Gel
Ba-Gel
Bay-Gull
Ba-Gull
Bay-Hel
Ba-Hel
I’ve always thought the G was soft so have been saying the last one my whole life.

Guys, thanks for humoring but I WAS kidding. That’s the kind of joke that seems hilarious to me at 5am in the shitter.

That wasn't nice. I hope your wiping is as spotty as your humor.

If you are planning a trip to France or Quebec (or Senegal for that matter), this could help.

Polling people in the office, seems like about 20 percent of the people here have heard of it though those people are vigorously defending the "bread slicing".

My wife (from Wentzville) found something in the internet that said Panera Bread (based in STL) was the one who started it and is actively trying to make it a “St. Louis” thing.Joe K wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2019 9:50 amYeah, that’s not a thing at all here. Though in STL, it's not Panera. It's called the Saint Louis Bread Company (and even then is just called "the Bread Company" by many locals.)sancarlos wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2019 3:12 pmMy wife (from Wentzville) found something in the internet that said Panera Bread (based in STL) was the one who started it and is actively trying to make it a “St. Louis” thing.Joe K wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2019 9:50 amYeah, that’s not a thing at all here. Re: Bagels
Its one of those "secret ingredients" that you don't actually really need, although I'm pretty sure my crust was better once I added it.
