That green kit is working a treat
Re: EPL 2022/2023
So, I wonder, a month ago, what kind of odds could you have gotten on Manchester United being relegated after this season, and what are the odds on that, now?
(It’s still pretty unfathomable, but…)

Re: EPL 2022/2023
Just watched the ManU-Brentford highlights. Wow....what a disaster. They should not be that bad.
Re: EPL 2022/2023
30/1 at the moment. Since the big teams are all between 500/1 and 5000/1, you'd have to figure that Man U was in that vicinity.

Meanwhile, 20 year-old Malik Tillman has 2 goals in as many games for Rangers. Midweek he scored the clinching 3rd goal to allow Rangers to move on in the CL. Yesterday score a similar goal in a 4-0 win of St. Johnstone.
Kid has a great motor (not quite Aaronsen level, but playing the same role) and it's really nice to see a guy that good in the air.

MMMOOOOOREEEEE MORE MORE
Re: EPL 2022/2023
A nasty, nasty second half.
Spurs were beyond lucky to get a point - on the previous corner kick, Romero pulled Cuccarella down by his hair and was left on the field.
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Chelsea very unlucky to only get one point. Did you see the harsh words between managers at the finish?
ETA: just saw that the video was posted.

Man, that was some bullshit. Both Spurs goals were nice, but both were shortly after some inexplicable non-calls. Chelsea dominated most of the game, but could only get a point.
Did Tuchel bait Conte into a red at the end? I think maybe he was holding the handshake, but it's hard to be 100% sure.

Totally Kafkaesque

Re: EPL 2022/2023
they had both already picked up a yellow for their mid-game altercation after Tott made it 1-1. Any further hostilities was sure to draw the red on each. Looked like Tuchel started round 2 to me.
Re: EPL 2022/2023
I think Tuchel got a red as well.
And Bentancur's tackle that eventually led to Spurs' first goal was borderline, but legal.
On a side note - this Reece James is pretty damn good.

Re: EPL 2022/2023
Bentancur got some ball, but he went through Havertz to get it. 99% of the time, that's called a foul. And a yellow.
Totally Kafkaesque

If you’re worried about getting your hair pulled during a game, there’s a simple fix for that.
You know who never complains about hair pulls? The Yankees, that’s who

Re: EPL 2022/2023
This can’t be real. Is this real?
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Now I want to see a completely balanced list of all +/- across all clubs and leagues.
(But logically, it makes sense although I would have expected you'd have to pull 2 or 3 more big clubs into that number? You've got the buyers at the top and everyone below is either a seller or sell-to-buy. Like Chelsea and Arsenal both surpassed $100MM net but then you've got the other clubs who can't keep up with that rate, like Man City, at a huge surplus to offset.)

Cool especially the unexploded bombs
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Would be more on point if they built the stadium under the water
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Could have the best stadium in The Championship
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Harry Kane is pretty good at soccer.
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Leeds Chelsea. Good fun. Maybe they've got deeper talent but if they can press Chelsea I think US can do it too. Adams and arronsen look good. The plan is working but still gives up too much to a team this skilled. BUT the plan didn't change. They need to sign McKinnie.
