Had a cool bald eagle sighting over the weekend ...

It's been a heck of a winter for wildlife. We've come across coyotes and elk on hikes, and I'm 90 percent sure I saw a mountain lion a couple of weeks ago. We've never seen any of these animals out in the wild around here before this year.

Sorry to spam y'all, but my wife just called. She can't get the cats to their vet appointment because the car is blocked in.

This is our eleventh year up there, and we've never seen a bull moose around until this week. Now he's been following a mama and her juvenile around, and making some terrible whining sound too. Dude really needs it bad apparently.

I had the same exact thought. Maybe someone copied the idea, or it was from 10 months ago and feels like 5 years ago. Or it's a glitch in the Matrix and it's a Mandela Effect moment.

Woman goes to work, gets swallowed whole by 22-foot python
The search team killed the reptile and sliced open its stomach, where they discovered Jahrah’s remains completely intact.

“The victim’s body was not destroyed when we found her inside the snake, meaning that she had only been recently swallowed whole,” the police said, after they found the reptile near the village of Betara in Indonesia’s Jambi province, located on Sumatra island.

I feel like that is neither awesome nor hilarious.

From that same article...
In 2017, a 25-year-old villager on the island of Sulawesi was discovered inside a 23-foot-long python, suspected of killing him.
Real Sherlock Holmes deduction on display there...

Hmmm. But that's things they've just killed. Don't think snakes make meals of road kill etc.
