Yeah. Just win 5 majors. It's not like only 19 men have done that in their entire careers, and seven of them did it before 1950.
He backed off a bit, but still..this is why great players often don't make great coaches.

Yeah, and it's a back issue that is the latest and biggest reason for struggles. The list of golfers who come back from serious back injuries to contend for majors isn't long. Basically doomed Freddy Couples from becoming an all-time great.

I rolled over some of my winnings from last night on Jordan Spieth at 40/1. He's young, but he's ready I think. Could be a "Tiger Woods in 1997" kind of performance.

That's not a bad bet. So many young guys are coming out just totally fearless these days int eh regular tournaments, just have to translate it into the high-pressure situations. Augusta one of the harder ones to win when you're young because of the course knowledge so many of the older guys have, though.
Patrick Reed has a good mindset for majors. He's a honey badger.
My pick is Dustin Johnson. Got the length, just needs to not post an 8 early on Saturday. He's contended in a few majors and hopefully can get his head right one of these days.

You know CBS will be rooting for Johnson. If he is near the lead, you should do a shot every time they show Gretzky's daughter on camera. Which would be a lot.
Entered a Masters pool today. We can pick any six golfers, four have to make the cut to qualify. Lowest four combined scores of the pool entrants wins the pot. I went with:
Jason Day
Webb Simpson
Dustin Johnson
Matt Kuchar
Philly Mick
Fred Couples
You haven't considered not watching because Tiger is not there?
Nope. I was watchign Masters before there was aTiiger. Well, before he was playing anyway. Used to watch it with my grandmother. I don't remember Nicklaus in '86, but I remember Sandy Lyle in '88. Some of my memories are probably as much from replays as anything else, but i can recall seeing that one live for sure and pretty sure I've watched every one since pretty religiously.
12 pack of Miller High life on Masters sunday is a tradition unlike any other in the Bond household.

Hi-Def TV was invited for the Masters. The course always looks amazing.
And I go waaaaaaay back with watching it. I can remember watch Nicklaus coming from behind on the back 9 in '75 to beat Johnny Miller and Tom Weiskopf.
2) The directv masters mix is the tits. All of the online feeds on my big screen? Yes please. Channel 701 for the Mix showing all feeds, then you can click on any one of them to go to that particular. Excellent stuff for the first days of the tournament.

25 of the 33 groupings have major champions in them.
Edit: This is easier at the Masters of course because of the old guys that get in because of a Green Jacket, but still, that's wild. Looks like 7 of the groups wouldn't have had one were it not for that exemption.

Well, i may be half right. Bubba was bringing it.
Three Georgia Bulldogs made the cut (Bubba, Kirk, and Henley. English did not, although he is a heck of a young player too). You may hear some barking after good shots this weekend if Bubba keeps it up.

Loving this bet right now.

Was just talking about with my buddy. He bet $50 on Spieth too. We're watching the Masters at a bar pregaming before the Tigers/Padres game.
