Especially with a little bit of hindsight “Turn On The Bright Lights” is one of the greatest debut albums ever.

Going to see two shows next week, and I’m guessing the two audiences could hardly be more different from each other.

Roxy Music on Monday. Billy Strings on Friday.

Went to see The War on Drugs on Monday at Red Rocks. Music and weather were great. The constant smoke blowing in my face was not...I usually don't have a problem with people smoking or vaping but for some reason the wind was just right to give me my first contact high experience.
I would like expensive whiskey.

War on Drugs tonight for me on an unseasonably cool evening outdoors here in St. Pete (if I can ever get out of this fucking divorce mediation). It's no Red Rocks, but it'll do.

I know I've talked a little shit on them in the past but that's a band I think would be very cool to see outdoors as the weather was getting less warm.

Enjoying it, but I feel like I'm in a sea of human redwoods. Every MFer here in front of me is like Scottie Pippen or taller.

Had to stand the whole time when I went…I wouldn’t consider their music something you stand and dance to but I guess when you’re drunk or high enough you can dance to anything.

The benefit concert for Ky flood victims at Rupp Arena is being livestreamed for $20 on veeps. Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam and Tyler Childers scheduled. I imagine a swamper or two might dig that. Starts at 7 eastern.

So I agree but I don't think I'll ever get over "The New". That should be two independent songs, the 2nd half should be mid-album and the 1st half should be the second to last song where it is or the last song, depending on how long they'd play out the instruments at the end.

Panic At The Disco at T-Mobile Arena tonight.

I've heard "Vegas Lights" played there a few hundred times, but never live.

The first opener (Jake Wesley Rogers) was literally the gayest performer I’ve ever seen and he was awesome. One of the best opening arena acts I’ve ever seen. But even Elton John would have been like “you might want to dial it back about 25 percent, kid”

I would definitely go to this show. In fact, we owe my middle son a trip and he's a big Postal Service fan. Might make a weekend of it somewhere. The announced dates were somewhat odd though. Felt like a lot of weekday nights. Hoping they fill out the dates with some weekend shows, and maybe something local here.

Something like that. I've seen them here before, but it was definitely pre-DeSantis. Maybe they're boycotting the state?
