Happy New Year Swampers.

Hope it's a good and healthy year for all of you guys and your families.

My resolution is a simple one - try to embrace the good in life.

Happy New Year to all my fellow Swamp denizens...so nice to be a part of this community.

My kids asked me what my New Years resolution was going to be...and I told them is was to "Keep Being Awesome".

I don't think they believed me.

ETA to add this classic New Yorker cartoon..

Happy New Years everyone.

I'm debating whether or not to purchase the Phish livestream from Madison Square Garden tonight. Initially I was thinking that getting the stream would be a good way to buffer the noise from the likely party next door (we live in a row house). You know, crank up the surround sound, and the three set show would run to at least 1-1:30a EST. But that was a few days ago. My neighbor's mail has since collected in his mailbox, so the chances of him throwing an organized party this evening, when he's been absent for much of the past week? Near nil.

I think I should get the stream anyway, cuz I don't like the idea of using Phish as a cudgel. :P

Happy new year swamperoonies.

Hope we all start 2023 with the confidence of Ryan Seacrest holding a microphone with his own name plastered all over it.

I’m listening!

Happy New Years to all of you. Thanks for the laughs when I needed them, the kind words when I needed them, and for giving me a place to express thoughts I would never tell my “real” friends. Stay safe!

Ran out of regular, had me searching through the pantry where I lucked out and found a box of K-cups, which led me to exclaim “Decaf? The fuck is this shit?”

So my 2023 isn’t exactly starting off on the right foot.
