I’m rooting for Buffalo but Beasley can still fuck off.

When did Miami hire Nathaniel Hackett to manage the clock?

He wanted Thompson to take the shot on 2nd and 12, but after the sack made it 3rd and 19, he did suggest handing off or checking down.

I don't want to defend him, but the situation was vastly different even though it was back-to-back plays.

McDermott has not covered himself in glory with a lot of decisions today, including wasting his last timeout seven seconds before halftime trying to coax a replay out of the officials. The play he was trying to get reviewed used four seconds, so they could have had one more shot at the end zone before kicking the field goal.

I texted a friend - "Is McDermott drunk?"

This is such a strange feeling - I am pissed off after a Bills playoff win.

Between Leslie Frazier reverting to playoff cluelessness, McDermott being lost, and Josh Allen playing like he did as a rookie, a very uneasy feeling.

Dorsey falls in love with calling passes, and not just today. I get it, Allen and Diggs and Gabe Davis and Knox and on and on without a true star RB (let's ignore how good Cook looks for the sake of this because "he hasn't proven it" or some dumb bullshit), but when you're up two touchdowns against a lesser team playing its QB3, it's okay to start trying to shorten the game by running the ball.

I know I say this every time they’re in a national game, but is there really a compelling reason the Vikings haven’t retired Moss’s #84? I mean no disrespect to Irv Smith, but he’s gotta another number, right?

I feel like 7 years with the team is a little low to get your number retired.

Holy crap. Finally I've seen a fumble on a QB sneak.

And this getting run back for a TD was icing on the cake.

I don't understand why they let 25 seconds run off the clock with two TO's left there.

that clock management was awful by Baltimore. Like they were assuming the TD and wanted to leave no time for Burrow. I will take it.

that was every bit as hard as I thought it would be by the way. First time ever winning playoff games in back to back seasons for the franchise. These are the good old days for bengals fans. I literally have waited a lifetime for this.

I felt the same way. But the more I look at the replay the more I think he, correctly, anticipated a deflection but incorrectly chose the wrong way it would go.

Hence his hesitation and being caught flat footed a bit. He got a hand on it! So he just seemed to misjudge it.

Yeah, the running the clock down to nothing to not give the other team the ball has gotten too extreme. FGs ok but not TDs.
Bellichick did this down 4 also against the Bengals and fumbled on the 2, never got the winning TD.

The Ravens wanted to score with no time left and go for 2 as well.

Used to do that during the Bills glory years. Van Miller was the radio guy and he clearly loved every minute of a Bills' game.

Mark Andrews damn near caught Hubbard on that fumble return, because nobody was blocking him. When somebody finally did, it was pretty close to a block in the back.
